Is it due to getting older or was bf1942 and bfvietnam etc more fun than bf3...maybe just cause i had more irl mates to play with back then and i was a teen still
 
Just tried air superiority, what a joke that is. Couple the ocd jet brigade with stacked teams and its the worst gaming experience in a long time. Utter turd.
 
Problem is with jet flying is a skill few possess.

So all it takes is for the other team to have two decent pilots and yours to have none, and the game is pointless.


People whinge about jets enough as it is, without making them easier and more accessible for people to kill with.

Nobody asked for that (don't really see how they could make them easier than they are anyway), they're already easy enough to fly as it is compared to BF2. Just as you say it only takes about 2 good pilots on one team and the game just goes head first down the crapper.

That was me musing about how you would solve the problem.

The only way i could see to do it was make them easier to fly so that everybody could be good in them with lots of assists etc..

But That would solve one problem, and create 10 more.
 
@Mike306 - Any chance you could make the all maps server all maps including DLC ones? I much prefer playing HC but the only proper all maps servers are all just normal core.
 
@Sleeve We have no intention of changing the All Maps server.

It is possible that we might consider it for another server, but at the moment we are running 4 servers which can be a pain to maintain, maybe after the End Game buzz dies down we will consider it :)
 
Thinking of getting this later today.

What sort of graphics settings would be suitable using a 2gb 7850?

Would I need to lower them a lot at 1080p?

M16A3 for me as assault, haven't switched from it since first getting it and like it. M416 is good as well.

I stuck with the SV98 for sniping since I first unlocked it. Have just got the M98 unlocked so going to start using that from now and see how I get on. Have found myself using assault far more than I did in BC2 (and doing a lot better for it!)
 
Hopefully get on for a few rounds soon. Got the game reinstalled, just a few more software updates and get the second fan reinstalled on my cpu cooler. Looking forward to a proper blast on endgame.

High with no MSAA i would guess, check benchmarks on bit-tech or something, but i'm pretty sure the 7850 get's around 35 fps with max settings and MSAA, so you might actually get max settings with no MSAA, have a fiddle.
 
Had a quick blast of ctf, pretty enjoyable. A nice change from conquest. And a great relief to play without crashes or freezing.:D
