Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Tried the beta hated it got it cheap in humble free still don't like it what's wrong with me? I liked bfbc2 and all bf2
Bfdc were favourite games that iv played 1000's of hours but this just feels wrong.

I updated the regions so it shows only German, UK etc. servers.

I just don't get it, as this map pack seems to be the favourite out of all the maps yet all the other map packs have way more active/full servers currently, here is AK with the same settings:

Yeah, not a lot of servers. I mostly play on Oscarmike #4 for conquest and "=11= Clan #2/2 - CITY MAPS - RUSH - DICE Friends - PBBans" for Rush (although those has other city maps as well which is a bit annoying.)
 
Hey everyone!

Recently picked this up from HumbleBundle after waiting ages for it to go on sale, and have found the team balancing to be utter ****. Regularly end up in a game with 8 humble n00bs (levels <10) against 8 colonel 100s. I really don't understand what these people get out of this, and if they diddn't spend the entire game baseraping I wouldn't care.

Are there any servers out there that this doesn't happen? I thought I'd found a couple so saved them to favourites, but went back to play again and it turns out I just got lucky for a game or two. I've been playing mainly 16 player TDM because any other game type I get absolutely destroyed.

Nothing wrong with you :p, unfortunately many feel the same as you :(

I have over 600 hours in bc 2 and just over 200 hours in bf 3, it just isn't as fun as bc 2

At least bf 4 is looking FAR better..........

Set the regions to all of Europe, as it's client side hit reg, higher ping will work in your favour anyway. I regularly play in UK or Western EU servers from Moscow on only a 4mb connection and don't experience any problems with lag.

Don't know how you and others can play on high ping servers, I just encounter rubber banding big time :confused: (60MB connection, 23 ping with 2 jitter)

Unticked all regions and it is a bit better but still not a great choice especially compared to other map packs still, also still shows mostly German servers :p:

Unfortunately from my 200+ hours of game play, no :(

I also had the exact same as you a few nights ago, best matches of my gameplay time as teams were even then went back a few nights ago and games were the worse ever, checked scoreboard and it was no surprise, newbies VS 100 colonels :rolleyes:

Just going to do what you are doing, playing on team death match only now. Team balance is just utterly broken in this game.

I've recently downloaded BF3 from Origin but it won't install. Firstly I had an error to do with direct x and so I googled and found a fix, now it's saying I need to be an administer to install the game, which I am!

I'm only on 512kb/s I really don't want to download 19gb again.

Feel bad for you son, got 99 problems but download speed ain't one :D

TDM is all I play now too , just cant be bothered with trawling endless servers looking for an evenly matched round or two. 64 player mayhem for me pretty much solely on Noshar Canals as its perfect for tdm.

stopped watching after saw that medic kill at grand bazaar and support guy ran right past u and hid behind the box.. **** me was that stevie wonder?
 
wanted to play rush tonight but as usual landslide wins..........14 matches in a row, all landslide wins :rolleyes:

If this isn't fixed in bf 4 I am not touching it!
