Also possible - repair tool kills (easy) and miniature Robot kills (harder, but I have one to my name).

Best bet is to find a camping sniper...Hold your defibs too him (ie hold left click down) for a while and he should die.

Slightly off topic has anyone managed to get BF3 running with Win 8.1 IE11? (yes, yes, Win7, chrome, FF ftw etc).

It'll run fine with FF22 but it looks like IE11 in 8.1 is stopping 32bin add-ons from running and there's no obvious way of allowing it to spawn 32bit processes/tabs. Disabling enhanced protection mode (now on by default) doesn't seem to help. The Battlelog plug in seems to install but will never run, not even showing up in "manage add-ons" inside the browser although it does show up as a 32bit option in the control panel version of manage add-ons.

I can run through FF fine but I'd like to work out what's going on/how to enable 32bit mode for add-ons for IE11, there's no longer separate versions so I'm missing a trick somewhere.

Any ideas?

It's not too easy in BF3, the baddie has to be motionless and they can hear the fibs coming out unless you have them out before you get close

Is there a way to use the Keyboard and mouse on foot and xbox controller for vehicles? I plugged in my xbox controller and it doesnt seem to work

One thing I find annoying is that there is no aim down sight sensitivity option.

I plugged it in half way during a game and it didnt work but it was fine when I started a new game.

Hmm I tried it in IE (win8.1) but it doesn't work too good for me, it keeps endlessly asking me to download the plugin, some of the tabs don't look right and it won't launch a game, it keeps asking for the plugin which I've installed and restarted IE etc..

(It works flawlessly in chrome)

Pretty sure you can change it separately in your config if it is bothering you.

I have the same thing. It looks like IE11 in 8.1 is fixed in 64bit enhanced protection mode by default which is more secure, but it seems to not run old 32 bit add-ons. There's bound to be an option somewhere to let it spawn x86 32 bit tabs with the add-on but I can't find it.

All works fine with FF22, incidentally, IE11 actually looks to be a really nice browser with IE Adblock/tracking protection lists. Seems pretty quick and comparable to FF22 just from a non scientific use point of view.

Its quite good actually. You start off with just a pistol, knife and grenade and have to pick up weapons from random spawn points.

Do you only hear other people talking if you have a headset?

Need to play more of scavenger! It is actually a good game mode and is nice to see everyone "having" to use a different weapon as opposed to the majority of players who just use the M16 the entire time........

Love just running around with the magnum a lot of the time though, such a beast that gun :cool:

Not long to go till this game gets uninstalled for good with the bf 4 beta around the corner. I really hope BF 4 doesn't disappoint, if it does then that will be me done until battlefront
