It is the same with most items we purchase these days. The RRP is £X's only to drop in a few months to £Y's
So if BF3 starts out at £35-£40 then so be it. I would sooner start the online carnage and shooting rather than wait 3-4 months to save a tenner !
I spend that on 2 drinks in a bar on a Friday evening !

BF2 is quite possibly the best purchase I've ever made. Thousands of hours of fun for just £25, it doesn't get any better than that.

I wouldn't mind paying full price for BF3 if it comes anywhere near the funfactor of BF2.

Also considering I probably paid £25 for BF2 all those years ago (2005?) and got many many many hours of gameplay out of it, I'd happily pay £30 or £40 for this game if it lives up to expectation.

Same, the ammount of hours ive played BF2 and BFBC2 id gladly pay £40 for a quality title. Just hope it at least matches the hype that is building, im trying not to get sucked in... but its difficult :D
