i imagine it's fake as they've said that the lmg's will be used by all classes but have disadvantages (lower speed no side arm etc)

At least the medics will not be that over powered any more, but no assault WTF ?!?!?!

Also this brings me back to destructible terrain in mp, with no 40mm that’s going to cut down your options for getting through walls.

Because those games are yearly updates, not all that much is going to change from 1 year to the next. Its coming up on 6 years since BF2 came out, Dice are simply not going to target just the hardcore fans of BF2 by making BF3 the same game with better graphics, which seems to be the road some people want them to take. Just seems that some people want to pick up where they left off and have not have to relearn anything.

In order to cater for the masses they would have to "dumb" down the game compared to bf2 and if that is the case then many pc fans will be ****ed at yet another console port.

no one wants bad company 3 with 64 players. we want a proper battlefield game.

By the looks of it. we may not need to learn new things at all as by your statement, they may make this game more pick up and play! nothing to re learn from that.

If it's dropped my fears have been confirmed and this will be a BC3 console port with added Multiplayer , FFS just convert BF2 inot the frostbite engine and the games a garunteed hit.

I believe that pic has been confirmed as a fake on the EA forums so dont read too much into it.

I dont understand why people are under the impression this will be BC3 rather than BF3, we havent seen any multiplayer yet.

The single player has ben confirmed that it includes all elements of multiplayer (vehicles / weapons etc) as a kind of training area prior to MP.

Im sure this will be a proper battlefield game. Feel free to quote and flame if incorrect on release!

Yeah guys I really do have hope for this!

I loved Bad Company 2, but I loved Battlefield 2 more!

They have stated time and time again, that this will be a true sequal to Battlefield 3, lets have some faith!

Never EVER believe a developer no matter what they feed you, not saying it won't be but many times i've been pulled in by the bs.

Beth and Bioware for example are good at it
