Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Just out of a game I joined about 3/4 way through, other team won by 500 tickets. =/ Need to bring back the option so you can see how the games going in the browser.
 
was about to say also, Raider....that server I joined you on last night... think it was steamrolled 3 wins in a row when I was on :p (obviously totally all my awesome skill to thank...) but I was a bit bored in the jet with nothing to shoot as I feel bad flying towards their main :(

also while I mentioned jets.....OMG the normal machine gun does like no damage to anything!!!!!!! :( talking j-20/f-35....the a-10 and frogfoot with their giant cannons rip things to pieces!

+100000. This is the only issue that makes me seriously rage in this game at the moment. Last night I felt like playing a certain map, I joined 5 servers in a row that were mid map change :(

I'm also sick of joining seriously staked servers.

Why on earth they didn't port over the ticket count as a feature from the BF3 battlelog is beyond me. Surely when they went to build the BL for BF4 they took the list of BF3 BL features and prioritised them for release on BF4?
 
Yeah happens all the time, should be something to inform you the match is nearly over, cant count the number of times I've joined and lost within a minute.
 
Is anyone else having problems getting this to run properly in Windowed mode? The only mode that seems to work properly for me is Fullscreen. If I set it to Windowed 1080p it just goes into an apparently randomly sized window way smaller than 1080p.

I find the BF4 jets totally boring. They completely screwed the one vehicle which had IMO the highest skill ceiling. Also I wouldn't bother with the j-20 or the f-35 until they buff their overall speed and manoeuvrability (which I assume is coming as they have literally no role right now).

But would this not make it so people will leave games they are loosing and then no-one will join to replace and it will make the loss even more?

I don't play in windowed mode, but mine does that too, completely randomly.
 
is there a windowed fullscreen mode? was in bf3 i believe. but yea if I alt tab it goes to a window about 900x600 or something xD
 
I have the settings on ultra and 4xmsaa, but ive not touched the Resolution scale as yet so its on 100% still. Any idea if it's worth using that higher? I have a EVGA 670 4gb. Aftermarket cooler on it also so my temps are never a problem.

If you have teamviewer open you need to disable quick connect.
If not try pressing alt-enter when in windowed mode

Yes it would, but it's not really fair on those joining either. When I join a game I would prefer a chance of winning. If a bunch of noobies have been playing TDM for half of the game and the other team is 400 tickets up then they deserve to lose.

Yup, if the winds already blowing firmly in that direction not much can be done about it.
