Bayonetta

I had dreams about her last night......... Worrying but is it really that unsual :D:D

Can't wait to get home to play it after work :)

LMFAO wait untill later on in the game you fight 4 of them in the middle of fighting 2 other massive boss`s LOL :D

Are you kidding me! I hate the bosses, you get close to any of them try to pull of some crazy ass combo moves and you just get slaughtered!

Just finished it, brilliant game, thank goodness for being able to skip the cut scenes, the story didnt particularly grab me, but the gameplay was the best for me since God of War, took me about 5 and a half hours to complete.

thats it?

any replay value?

im just about to try it for the first time

Well, this game is rock solid isn't it? Playing on medium at the moment, have managed to get to the two headed dragon dealy but he got me in his last phase so i gave up. I don't like using continues or items as they obliterate my ranking :p

hmm after playing bayonetta for a short while my first impressions are not very good. Nice game, but I feel there are more cons so far than there was when i played Darksiders.

The first part of the game is all button mashing, too many enemies and poor camera angles to play around with the witch time thing (dodging at the last second)

the soundtrack is awful, so not the type for the type of game, i would expect that for something like gardening mama

obvioulsy this is just first impressions, im sure it gets much better after the first part, but im a lot more into darksiders atm and going to finish that first :)

I skipped all the cut scenes, i never get involved enough to watch them, but the action was fantastic, and ill play through it again before it goes back to the rental shop next week on a harder level.

Theres loads to unlock though, you could replay it multiple times though, its really that good.

Loving this game but finding it really hard at parts. I'm on chapter 10 and the 2 grace and glorys I have to fight are damn tough. Tonight was the first time in a while where I actually shouted at the TV. :p

And i ahve just finished chapter 9. Some of the enemies are just fun to fight if a bit frustrating when they destroy me. But i'm totally sucked into this game, even the story just for the sake of how silly it all is. The bosses seem a bit off at times. For example in NG2 all the bosses could block majority of your attacks and eat you in a heart beat, in bayonetta practically every attack yuo do will connect if you're not being exploded at the time, it just seems to make every flow so much better and make boss replays better as it's unlikely you'll be dieing to a boss with full healthbars.

I have just started my hard playthrough. It's not very nice. Got to the third battle with the torture attack challenge and just cannot bear it.

Absolutely love this game! Just so much fun, the combat is excellent, love trying out all the combo's and dealing as much damage as I can in one move. The torture attacks are a great laugh, although killing my fingers mashing either the triangle, square, circle or rotating the left analogue stick. The difficulty level constantly changes, which makes the game more interesting. You could be fighting a few of the bottom level angels, dealing with them in one move, and then two big b******* appear and can kill you with a few combo's. It does get irritating and god knows the amount of times I've died. The girlfriend finds it funny, the voice that you hear each time you press continue, well she's realised this happens when I die. So there's been a few times this has happened, I've came across a couple of difficult enemies and of course all you can hear behind her book is a little snigger and occasionally being called a loser lol Other than that I've really enjoyed it, quite far through it as well, think I've given it a good 7-8hours.

I've got to add, for a computer character, she is hot!

Finished it last night and I have to say it really enjoyed it. Found it pretty tough going at times but that just increased my sense of accomplisment after I had completed it. Gonna play through it again to get all the items and what not.

Watching those Eurogamer "face off" vids I don't think I've seen another cross-platform game with such massive differences in quality between them. As a PS3 owner who would've been quite interested in this sort of game I'm really disappointed. :(

I know there's a difference, but I'm definitely not disappointed, it still looks great and plays well, the loading screens aren't too bad, just don't die a lot :p

Just clocked this on the 360 and it is a corker of a game. It is certainly fun and intense and the best game laughs for ages. The presentation is fantastic and it is physically exhausting at times.

The ending is supurb as well.

Anybody enjoy the homage to Space Harrier?

I can see why it got such good reviews. It is a fun game that really does not take itself too seriously.

Need to et this rented, played the demo and not only did I think the game was worth playing I think I'm in love with leading lady.

Getting well into it now, my current weapons of choice are the samurai sword with the fire claws. The sword is nice and nippy, perfect for whittling down health when not in witch-time, and the claws do stupid amounts of damage with their 'bomb' attacks.
