most people dont have the time to dedicate to ther motorsports... the only other form of motor sport i used to watch was touring cars back in the late 90s since the early 00's i havent watched anything other than f1 , if i dont have the time to monitor forums and keep updated with the latest news i lost interest fast
This. F1 for me that wastes enough time and last year I watched lemans24 which I would like to watch more 24hour races this year.
But I don't wnat to get into more motorsports. Think how any weekends and time is "wasted" on f1.
Assuming you watch qually and the race then 2.5 to 3 hours every fortnight isn't really that much

Available on Virgin, if you have the full sports package

I did say it wouldnt be in a type of HD pack or standalone - Sky arent stupid or vaguely interested in any attempt to maintain the current F1 audience/penetration, never were going to sell the rights to VM without it being a driver to move customers to Sky...

I like watching it live, so it kind of wipes out every other weekend. In season.
This, how much is that package?
22.50 a month
Is it on sky go? And can you get sky go without sky?

Ouch!
Between £22.50 and £28 a month.
While we never expected it to be cheap, that is a particularly high price for F1 on VM. Especially seen as SS1 or SS2 are available as individual channels.
But as ps3ud0 said, this was never going to be a 'better deal' than going to Sky.
Nice! Have been anxiously waiting for them to announce this... Always felt there was a small chance Sky might not agree to Virgin getting it, like that Sky Atlantic channel.

you can yes, but its just as expensive I think
Sweet, I have two ideas.
Both brother and parents are on sky, will look into it. And in fact brother already has Sky HD and at least movies probably sport as well. So if that's possible.
well you can get their sky id and watch it on go, no problems
This
I used my parents Sky ID to watch Sky TV at Uni for a number of years.
Will have to use parents Sky ID then — I was already planning on upgrading my broadband from 10mbps to 30mbps so I could get 60mbps — not going to add £22.50 on top of that!
Still, with 60mbps I shouldn't have any problem streaming from Sky Go.

It looks like Virgin customers will be offered the Sky F1 Channel alongside Sky Sports.
Happy Days!

Yes fabulous... for those that already have it
This is what I'm going to do to see what its like first. Shame the RTL feed didn't match up with 5 Live and that the commentators are changing as well.
