Thought I should probably get some downloaded and reviewed since this is all partly my fault. :)

bazzabear - On Normal (which is about my limit) this is excellent - really matches up with the beat well. On Hard, I failed after about 2 mins, but I was grinning like a maniac while I was doing it.

Not sure if we want bad reviews here, but Bohemian Rhapsody I found to be bad. No normal mode - Easy was boring, and Hard (for me at least) was just random hopeful flailing. I see though that there are two versions of this by the same guy - I played 1693-1190, and there's a 2738-1916 so maybe he improved it a bit. Might try it later.

bazzabear - Played on normal and hard. In both cases matched up to the song beat really well. I'd say the difficulty levels are pretty well judged versus the standard songs too. Might be a little easier.

And another bad one: American Idiot. The blocks are varied and interesting in placement, but they just bear no relationship to the song half the time. Better on hard mode than normal, but still not great.

I've updated the OP with the recent posts and added some of my own in for now. If you try any of the suggested maps and like it feel free to let me know so the best/most popular ones can be boosted up the list. Also if you don't like it, that's good to know as well. For example "If you hate maps that do 'x/y' then you won't like this one."

There are so many bad maps, I don't think I could keep up with adding them all to a thread:p. I'm sure many haven't even been play tested by the people who made them.

bazzabear - Interesting approach to obstacles in this one. Make sure you have a bit of room to each side of you - leaning won't cut it!

It definitely should... when I realised I was dancing like the music video, I actually laughed out loud!

Dont try YMCA then, unless you like looking like an utter tit. Had my wife and daughter filming me whilst i was giving it my all, without my knowledge, and then they posted the videos on Facebook..........I felt violated :)

Thank you. Hopefully people have a handful of new songs from that list to play now. I'll try and keep on top of any new recommendations or comments.

They've said a new official song pack is coming soon, along with a tweak of the UI

Song: Du Hast - Rammstein

Difficulties: Expert, Hard, Normal, Easy

Youtube link : The youtube link is a bit weird - it's not the actual song, so that it doesn't get removed for copyright. But the song on Beat Saber is the actual song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYzkMv6rc1A

Might help if you like industrial metal. But the blocks match the beat very well. There's an electronica break in the middle of the song which is actually very easy (all dot-blocks) but quite frenetic and fun.

Five block colours. Still hitting with blocks with the correct colour saber. Grey is any colour allowed. When it kicks in a 58 seconds... just wow. I tried this song a while back with just the default 2 colours and still had to slow it down to 80% speed to finish it. This is just crazy.

His mom probably called him up from his basement seconds later as his tea was ready :) So don't hate him too much.

But joking aside, is that possibe what he just did? I'm glad he made some mistakes, as otherwise - dayam - pro skills

I don't see how you can even process what the blocks are asking you to do that quickly. I can only assume that it has required hours and hours of practice, and it's largely done from memory.

There's generally a small buffer of grey 'any saber' blocks between transitions between colour pairs giving you a slight heads up of the switch. Similar to how after a bit of playing when you see the visual cue of blocks switching places you know to cross your hands, it starts to not require as much thought. Still impressive and above my skill level though.

It's mostly ups and downs, and a 'walking' pattern that a few songs use just done really fast.
