Belgian Grand Prix 2014, Spa-Francorchamps - Race 12/19

Weak management and then publicly taking sides the Mercedes management have only themselves to blame, they shouldn't have left the drivers free to race when there is so much at stake. As for hamilton saying Rosberg has admitted it, I don't believe it, hamilton seems to think he is always the victim and never at fault..

There's nothing at stake. They will win the WCC and one of the drivers will win the WDC, this is a minor inconvenience to them at most.

Or anyone who actually watches the sport. If anything I could say the only ones that won't think that are Hamilton haters that are enjoying seeing him fail
How many Championships did Schumacher win? How many did he win fairly? Who cares other than Hill and his supporters? No one. The record books say 7 Championships, not how he won them and the same will be the case for Rosberg should he win one.

No but when they do things like the end of season video review etc, do you think it's going to full of praise for Rosbergs driving or constant analysis of racing incidents involving Rosberg or Hamiltons car failing on him

Rosberg admitting he could have avoided the collision but didn't because 'he wanted to prove a point'

Nothing will come of it because Merc won't want to reduce their own points but still, not great from Nico...

I find it hard to believe that to be honest. How could he predict what sort of damage it would cause? What if the entire front end of his car was wrecked and Hamilton's car was fine?

IF it's true, Rosberg has some massive cajones!

To the casual fan maybe but anyone with a real interest in the sport knows the truth.

If he does win it this stuff is all it'll be remembered for, he would be a "losers champion".

Are Prost and Senna remembered for losers championships? Or Schumacher in 94. Nope.

If Rosberg was making a point then he should have done it when he was alongside Hamilton a few races ago and Hamilton edged him off the track. That always annoys me, drivers should get to the edge of the track and not move any further. That's when they should hold their ground.

Rosberg said after than instance he would not be moving again. When he had just his front wing there was not the time to make a point.

Unfortunately nothing will come of it. Rosberg has the points and probably the championship. Glad he was boo'd, not sporting at all and not deserving of a WDC.

Bet the Hamilton fans didn't care about his lack of sporting behavior in 2007. It's not like Hamilton used to get a great reception in Spain.

DC and Hakkinen had their moments, so what. A minor racing incident of which Hamilton has had many. Was Buttons Canada win that everyone lost their seed about on here soured because he ended Hamiltons race? Did you class that as an unsporting win?

First two laps of a GP with drivers going for the title **** happens. Driving error, trying to make a point when he wasn't far enough alongside.

Next race.

Perhaps...it wasn't deliberate, but Nico has said it was to try to seem "hard" and psych out Lewis?

Like claiming you won a fight that never happened to seem like a tough guy?

So Rosberg has effectively admitted to causing an incident deliberately. Do we really think any penalty will be imposed? (personally, no).

Umm yea they are, they have legacy's not one off'.

I have never seen anyone on here or anywhere ever say Senna didn't deserve a title because he was a cheat and so his title was flawed and senna admitted he did it on purpose.

Yet I have never seen anyone say "well actually senna only won 2 titles as he cheated for one of them"

No one cares, no one says Schumacher actually won 6 and Hill 2.
