Belgian Grand Prix 2014, Spa-Francorchamps - Race 12/19

They won't van Rosberg, nothing will come of it.

I doubt Mercedes management will confirm anything, therefore the FIA couldn't do anything even if they wanted to.

Rosberg has shot himself in the foot, this is now no longer an internal team issue since Rosberg has (indirectly) admitted to driving dangerously.

The FIA will be all over this like a rash, and the minimum penalty I can see being imposed is a few races bans.

They can only ban him if Wolff/Lauder admit what was said in the meeting. I can't see that happening as it would hurt Mercedes.

Amazing if true. Though it doesn't surprise me. It has been clear since Monaco that Rosberg will do anything to win this championship.

hamilton actions i.e by turning in on him and squeezing him off when they were partially side by side caused rosberg to touch him so it is relevant

You and frank seem to be unable to understand basic stuff here. When you have a road that turns right, you can be turning right and the car will still appear to move left on the road.. It's a right hand turn, in most corners you start wide, hit apex end up wide and the entire time you are turning in the direction of the corner, even as you move from the apex to the opposite side of the road you are turning away from that far side of the track.

Hamilton didn't turn in to him, he was turning right the entire time, the car was turning right as the car moved to the left side of the track because you can only turn so tight .

Have you and frank really never turned in a car nor ever watched a race before that you would be unable to know this.

Reminiscent of shu and hill in another German destroying a Brits title hopes, less obvious though. If I was Hamilton I be would but putting the nut on rosburk.

Hamilton can however get in trouble for revealing information from an internal team meeting don't forget, the team almost certainly wouldn't be happy about it. Though clearly everyone was completely irate at Rosberg, so they may be happy it gets out there. If Rosberg gets a race ban over it, Mercedes get to run the "we couldn't lie" defence, while Rosberg gets a ban and it teaches Rosberg to stop being such a little douche.

He was getting destroyed in by Hamilton early season so he decided to cheat, and afaik was the first person to turn the engine up beyond what the team told them to. He was getting frustrated and cheated, Hamilton gets more bad luck but still makes Rosberg look bad, passing him after a situation that wasn't Hamilton's fault, he cheats again.

Either way, it will be great to see Hamilton and ALonso at Merc next year ;)

Not to mention it is as clear as day that Rosberg turns away but then decides to turn back into Hamilton.

Well...everything part from actually race.

Pretty much because he's terrible at it when he actually has to go wheel to wheel.

He'll no doubt go on to win this championship, but thankfully, it won't be remembered because of his skill or driving ability, more because of controversy and Hamiltons bad luck

The only people who will care are Hamilton and his fans. Everyone else will just remember it as a Championship for Rosberg just like the previous Championships drivers have won involving controversy.

Weak management and then publicly taking sides the Mercedes management have only themselves to blame, they shouldn't have left the drivers free to race when there is so much at stake. As for hamilton saying Rosberg has admitted it, I don't believe it, hamilton seems to think he is always the victim and never at fault..

No team will ever ban their own driver for that. Suggesting they should, or suggesting the FIA should get involved and ban him for dangerous driving is also just wishful thinking.

Rosberg was a nob, he somehow managed to avoid a penalty for causing a collisions, and he's ****** off most, if not all his team and bosses. His penalty will have to take the form of negative press and boos, which there will be bucket loads of.

Even if true, it's Hamilton word against no ones. Toto etc won't go public or to the the fia.
Nothing will happen.

However great fireworks and team implosion going forward,
I almost want RIC to win the championship now.
