So, they can change Perez to a fully wet setup and he'll already have 3 laps more fuel than the other cars just through his not running behind the safety car.
Has there been any mention of this?

Hopefully the commentary team address the topic of setup changes and additional fuel or being 'a lap down'.

I didn't say they were. I am saying that Rally drivers compete in far worse conditions and are at a much higher risk of injury. Just ask Robert Kubica.

Again when do rally drivers ever all start at the same time, and follow each other so closely??

It's purely the spray caused, and the impossibility of following closely in such conditions, that has caused these delays.

What's with the stupid 3 hour rule. Is this just going to turn into one big farce with zero racing.... would be typical of how badly F1 is run.

It's already a massive farce, trouble is there's too much listening to health and safety bedwetters and drivers who are scared of driving in the wet and prefer to wait for dry. It just needs someone with a bit of backbone to tell everyone to get on with it.

Did you watch live when Anthoine Hubert died, because I did and I never want to experience anything like that again. We've already had several huge accidents this weekend and somehow got away without serous injury thankfully.

Again when do F1 drivers race in snow and fly past trees and houses at 100mph? What's your point. Rally drivers race with the risk day in day out.

It just seems a bit wet for me. Excuse the pun.

Sure Lando and Seb wouldn't agree with you on that. Or Charles Leclerc. I'll trust their judgement over yours.

Huh? Delayed starts remove a lap from the race?

By the look of it

If the race has not been started, the abort lights will be switched on, a board saying
“DELAYED START” will be displayed, engines should be stopped and all Competitors
teams will be informed of the likely delay via using the official messaging system.
Once the start time is known at least five minutes warning will be given.
Tyre changing on the grid is not permitted during such a delay.
Every time this happens the race will be shortened by one lap.

Why would any driver want to risk spinning out and embarrassing themselves when they have the choice to wait for it to dry?

Lando and LeClerc are part of the problem as well, most Tesco workers probably have more experience driving in the wet due to their age and experience.
