Belinea 102035W

i had the monitor running all day yesterday an for a while this morning, i can safely say that there are no problems at all with it. How do i check when it was built?

spoke to maxdata today with regard to gettin my third monitor swapped out, bloke was tryin to blame my pc for the light bleedin issues i have had, he put me on hold for a few minutes while he went away to speak to a "Product Specialist". He then came back and said that someone from his HQ would contact me this week, or if not someone from his department would.

Im gettin really annoyed with this situation now.

Anyone have any suggestions to help my predicament?

I am having a little niggle with the resoloution settings in windows has anyone else had this?
I have the latest Nvidia drivers and driver for my screen but everytime windows is restarted my resoloution changes to 1600x1024 and the only way to select 1680x1050 it is to go in the Nvidia control panel and adjust the slider there. Its then fine untill next time. Has anyone go any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this?
Thanks
Scott

But it's for the xbox 360 so I've not tried it on the pc yet, will do at the weekend. Only just unpacked it so I've not really had a play about yet. No visible dead pixies though. Not sure about tthe bakclgight problem until i get sober.

Out of curiosity, whats it like for the X360, image quality/scaling wise?, have you got any pics of it playing some 360 games on it chap?

thanks

I'll have some up tommorow, my digicam is packed with xmas party pics and I've really got to sort through them all. This is the last pic I took, nothing much.

Looks great with the xbox, but I've yet to tweak the settings. It's running on widescreen mode at the max res of 1360x768 iirc via the joytech vga cable.

maxdata are now aware of this thread on this forum, spoken to them twice today with regard to my monitor, seems they want to get this sorted for me as quickly as possible.

I informed them that this issue with backlight leakage was becomming more common with people, and they asked me how i came to this conclusion. I informed them that i found out by looking on here, and the chap went on here to look while i was on the phone.

So hopefully they know there is some kind of flaw or there has been a bad batch of these monitors that has been made.

They have offered to swap out the monitor again, but i have told them im not prepared to have another one unless its tested.

Will keep people informed on my progress with maxdata.

Are those other two monitors 17 inch? just for size comparison! Thanks.
Yup, they're twin 17" sharp's.

Just created a mock black screen on ms paint and bloated it to full screen. The backlight leakage is quite nasty on mine too, i'll upload a pic later tommorow afternoon as my webspace is down atm. It doesn't bother me that much since I'm using it on the 360 and can barely see it - unless I'm watching a dvd that is set in the dark. Not sure if I should get it swapped given the time of the year at the mo...

Edit: Webspace is up, so here''s a pic of my backlight. I must admit it isn't that bad, but the settings on my cam were a mess after xmas party.

Bit of a daft question, but here goes. Does the cardboard box the Belinea comes in have a carrying handle. Im thinking about buying one, but need to have it delivered to work and i'll have to carry it home. If it doesnt its going to be rather awkward.

Well looks like my laptop only supports outputting to a max res of 1400 x 1050, but I'm confident my new PC (once the bloody mobo arrives..) will be able to keep it to the top res. with the 512mb nvidia

Kainz, did you manage to get any more pics of this monitor with some X360 games running on it?
I've buggered up a bit :p I brought my camera from work today (last day) but I've gone and left the usb cable connected to my pc at work lol. Going to pop over to a mate's tommorow and burrow his for a bit so I'll have them up tommorow, deffo :)

I've got a card reader here, but its started acting a tad odd and I dont want to corrupt the existing images on my memory stick atm. This is the last image I pulled off the reader before it died. Taken today.
