Benetiz confirms he leaves at the end of the season

He's prob just hoping to be sacked off payed off then he will **** off laughing. :p

What has this got to do with anything?.

Come on now, you know what i meant by it. It was a throw away comment..

It frustrates me that i only ever see him criticise. If your so good mate, hand in your cv!

I suspect it's more a plea to the fans that are causing the fuss to see sense. As he said, if things don't pick up it's no skin off his nose, he'll be gone regardless and those fans abusing him will have to watch their side in the Europa League rather than the Champions League.

That is the problem with DM he's got a long winded opinion on literally everything and more specifically to this area of the forum every single football club in the world and that would be fine if he didn't display this arrogance that he knows better than anyone else, which is obviously infuriating especially when he's talking other supporters clubs of which he has no affiliation to. Christ he even said the other day (that in his mind) he knows more than the average football supporter.

I don't think DM is any more or less arrogant than other posters down in Football Stadia?

It's just what most people do in here, ignore any points he's made and just reply mocking him. He's just got a long winded way of making his point and I think he types what comes in to his head without thinking it through properly, none of which are worthy of the vitriol he gets.

Their is one thing me and DM agree on, Barry isn't very good, i actually am better than him, he's just been in the right place right time. lol :p

Re; Barry.
Well who's opinion holds more validity?

Football fans or two managers who played/play Barry as much as they could/can, both managers having won multiple trophies as managers and players.

Does it not say anything when both managers could have chosen/bought someone else but they didn't?

Yeah of course he can play some football, you obviously need base ability to play in the premiership, he's a slow bloater tho.

Everywhere I look online this is being portrayed as a rant when it's exactly the opposite.
I've seen 2 different interviews with him now and they're almost the same verbatim, they're not rants at all & he obviously planned his speech.
I now have less sympathy for him as rants really show your emotions as they're generally spur of the moment emotions spilling out, this now seems to be just a dig as he's finally realised he's just a bit ****.
He said himself when appointed that results would win over the fans who called for his head & in hindsight that proves how little he knows about English fans.
Results are great but performances are King & he hasn't delivered either so deal with it.

Exactly how low an opinion of yourself do you have if you think you know LESS than the average football supporter. The average football supporter doesn't know an awful lot about football, watches mostly only their own games and a few champs league games, and reads the utter drivel on the back pages of newspapers which churn out nothing short of rubbish.

THe notion that because you support a club, you instantly have better knowledge of everything about that club than someone who supports a different team, is inherantly daft. There are Utd fans who barely ever watch a game, and Utd fans who watch every game of the season, hundreds of other games across the league, Europe, and put time into gaining knowledge about football in general, you think they both automatically know more than anyone who isn't a Utd fan.

Football, as with anything else in life, is knowledge, being a supporter doesn't instill knowledge in you no one else who isn't a supporter can gain. The average supporter simply doesn't spend much if any time on forums discussing football or watching other leagues, or analysing stats, or reading about it, because why should they? I know more about maths than your average student because I'm doing a maths degree and put the time in to know more, I know more than the average football fan, because I put more time into that than average as well.

Its funny, you dislike my supposed arrogance, while at exactly the same time showing your arrogance in opinions like I don't know more than the average fan, or I'm not always right(but you are more often is whats implied here).

Rant or not, he's got the team performing VERY poorly, has dropped 15 points from what I gather over Utd since the closest gap around when he took over, and as he's done at other clubs, when the going gets tough, he gets infront of camera's and blames everyone else.

I can't stand the man, he was absolutely willing to take full responsibility for winning the world club cup if he won, he took full credit for taking another managers team to the champions league win, but when his teams fail, his tactics fail, its always someone elses fault, every time. A few wins when he took over and he was demanding the job full time, a crapload of losses... entirely the fans fault.

Actually when we lost he took the heat, he deflected it off certain players. (Hi Gerrard January 2009). When we won, he praised the players.

He blamed(or rather complained and the fact they were ***** of the highest order) the owners throughout and called them out before our supporters did and funnily enough he was right. He called out Inter's board when he asked for changes in summer and the money wasn't available, look what happened there.(lolallrafasfault)

Also Tom showing arrogance by saying you aren't always right? Who is always right? ****ing hell.

I now have less sympathy for him as rants really show your emotions as they're generally spur of the moment emotions spilling out, this now seems to be just a dig as he's finally realised he's just a bit ****.

Maybe he is fed up with your interim fans singing 'Rafa Benitez hes a ****** hes a ******' '**** off Benitez you're not welcome here' 'Fat Spanish Waiter', the other ****e spouted at him everywhere and the cringe worthy memorial for a rubbish manager every game.

I could dissect every single line of that post but I'll concentrate on just these two paragraphs, you're right there are very casual supporters out there who dont follow 'their' club at all and yet call themselves supporters but very few of them are on this forum and it's the way you speak to people on this forum that I have a problem with. I dont have the slightest idea how condescending you are with people in 'real life' all I know is how you portray yourself on here.

As for this part (and again remember I'm only referencing how you converse with the other people on this forum) no you dont know more than the average football fan, seriously you aint anything special mate, you, me and 95% of the other posters on this forum are all equal so do yourself a favour and drop the holier than thou attitude and that's not me being arrogant telling you that that's me simply giving you a reality check.

A lot of football fans are like that tho, not just Chelski. It makes me sad, it makes me fall out of love with football...:(

...by the way i'm a Leeds fan, just incase you've been thinking i'm a pool fan with my defence of Benitez. :p
