BenQ BL3201PT Titan X funny horizontal flash down the screen and odd glitch

i may of seen it im not sure if i did or my mind playing tricks lol
but not seen it since this new cable
http://www.lindy.co.uk/cables-adapt...c113/1m-3dtv-1080p-4k-displayport-cable-p7749
they have a cromo range witch is not much more but the HUD is to big to fit into the monitor, this is my 3th cable seems to be the best other 2 were mini DP
allso if the cable is over 2 meters its not good lindiy told me on a email no cable over 2 meter is DP certified, so i got a 1 meter one to be safe
whats the AMA overdrive?

DP cable over 2m, not good, tell me about it I've tried 2 3m ones,
1st one no display, 2nd one, display - no display- display and repeat.

Had a few glitches in the last few minutes where the screen goes totally black for 2-3 seconds. Hmm, might have to contact benq and see what they say, also still getting the horizontal glitches.

Let us know if you get any response from BenQ. It'd be nice if there was a quick fix we just don't know about - although I doubt it.

Although mine has not done this as yet - would be interested to see what they say. Overall though - still rocking mine :)

Hey Gerard,

I would try ringing that 0207 number which they give for complaining about the 77p per minute line - get through to a human being. This is not looking good so far though.

Ps The 0207 number is also for warranty issues - so maybe appropriate?

Tried the main number earlier today, still got the "lines are closed" message. Was out most of the day so didn't want to call those mad numbers on my mobile.

I did notice on the hardocp forum though a guy saying that the glitches are probably due to clock\voltage changes in the gpu, and he's had a few panels that did exactly the same thing.

Acer B326HK, Samsung UD970, and LG 31MU97 all did this as well. I think this is just a graphical artifact that occurs when graphics cards are dropping clocks/voltage.

Think main number is only Mon-Fri etc, normal business hours. Interesting point about clock changes on the gpu, but surely that would apply/affect every monitor if that were the case? I don't know.....

I've also just developed an intermittent glitch where the screen goes black for 2-3 seconds, was reoccurring frequently (< 1 minute) but a reboot seems to have cleared it... at least temporarily.

I also had the other glitch where half the screen would flash briefly but it was infrequent enough for me to not worry about it.

The new glitch makes the monitor unusable.
