how long did it take DPD or Repairtech to contact you after BenQ sent the RMA number and the instructions for sending the screen back? Are they likely to come out unannounced or will I need to do some legwork ie ringing Repairtech?
thx in advance
Spoke to BenQ Tuesday last week. Got the RMA code Wednesday for collection Thursday between 8 and 16 from work.
However DPD somehow missed to pick up the parcel even if they visited the building on 3 different occasions. Raised that to BenQ at 15:30, and they told me that DPD made a mistake and offering to pick up at 20:00 or next day.
Contacted BenQ and they picked it up next day from my house. (Friday)
Monitor delivered on Monday noon at Repairtech. And Wednesday night got notification from them the monitor is on the way, and got it today.
Assuming someone ships his monitor on a Monday, might have it back for Friday. (but for legal reasons the monitor turnout is 7-10 days).
As for notifications. At every stage, I received SMS from Repairtech informing me about the DPD status when they are coming to pick it up, and when is going to be delivered.
All in all, overall extremely happy, and any worries that had initially, fueled by horror stories from others where unfounded. Something unfortunately that cannot be said about ASUS or LG and their subcontractors.
All in all TOP Quality service for both Repairtech and BenQ.
And if it is any BenQ rep around should take into notice.
Thats my experience, possibly too enthusiastic fueled by the very positive changes to my monitor with the V002 firmware, and possibly because I was using for a week my old XL2410T.......
I believe Jason, going to come to the same conclusion......
@ Jason, I know how you feel about Farcry 4. TESO looks much much better and words cannot describe it other than by saying "screen looks crystal clear" even if not crystals are involved here..........
EVE Online also looks "different". The crisper textures pulled out details on big ships, that I never realised they were there and I play that game since 2004
