It should be there, using DisplayPort?
Yes, running 1440p @ 144Hz after installing the newest drivers.

Ok played around with the settings on screen. if I enabled blur reduction then disabled it. Freesync option is on however I keep enable it but it won't stay enabled???
EDIT: ok done a reboot its staying on now with blur off. gonna try with blur on.
Maybe I need to read back of the thread? lol blur on and freesync doesn't work right? at the same time.
What your selling this monitor or have i got the wrong end of the stick here![]()
I wasn't bothered about the FreeSync, was just the DP and 144Hz that interested me, and the higher res, but have to say after trying it, its bloody amazing, makes a helluva difference, everythings just so much smoother.
Why don't OcUK have any stock yet?![]()
Same here I wanted 1440p and 144hz Freesync was a bonus if I liked it or not.. but am totally blown away by it.
Hmm, slight moment of panic there, was browsing the web and suddenly screen gave a slight flicker and everything on the left side of the screen went really blurry, like it was suddenly running at a really low resolution while the right side was fine. Rebooted and now it flickers constantly but it seems to be ok if I drop the refresh rate down to 100Hz, 120Hz is better but still some flicker.
I'm hoping this means it's most likely to be my cable at fault?
I'm currently using the DP cable that came with the screen and the mini-DP to DP adaptor that came with my 295x2 which I've been meaning to replace but up until now seemed to be working fine so I hadn't got around to it.
So now I need a new cable and I want to make sure it's a good one. I need it to be mini-DP to DP so I can connect it directly to both my 295x2 and screen without needing any adaptors, ideally 2m long but could get by with 1m if they are really more reliable and ideally black
I know competitor links aren't allowed but are there any brands that people have personally used and are happy with or any to specifically avoid?
Thanks,
Ross
*Edit* Oh crap, literally 10 seconds after I post this it starts flickering on 100Hz so it might be the screen after all
It's quite hard to describe exactly what it's doing, the image stays on the screen the whole time, there's no black outs at all. Every couple of seconds it's like there's a pulse, the whole screen seems to get slightly paler but it's primarily high contrast edges that seem to be affected, like text, window borders etc. They all seem to become more pronounced, thicker and blurrier and it's worse on the left side of the screen. I can move this broswer window so it's on the right hand edge of the screen and the text on the right is fine and get progressively worse as you go to the left. I have a second screen attached via DVI and that it absolutely fine.
Anyone seen anything like this before or have any suggestions? I've only recently got this screen back from the firmware upgrade so I'm really hoping it's not another RMA job![]()
Keeping in mind that I've only used the monitor for 2 days, I have to say that it's ok. I'm not blown away by it though and it seems very expensive for what it is. It was 25% more expensive than my 4K screen and isn't 25% better. Not sure if it's better at all.
Hard to say, one has a lot more pixels and so much better image quality, the other has 144Hz.
I'd probably give it a 7/10 at the minute.
