Could be an issue with the DP cable.

after doing some tweaking in power settings the cable is working now . looks to be a power saving driver problem.
Time will tell i guess

FreeSync aside (Until driver) What are the owners thoughts on this monitor please now they've had it some weeks?

Hoping to pull the trigger on this tomorrow.

I think it's absolutely incredible, but I'm coming from a 10 year old 22" lcd screen. Build quality really nice, bezel not to big, motion clarity and lack of any tearing is top notch. Also colours are really nice, I don't see the need for blur reduction either, the panel doesn't blur when gaming to me and everything feels deeper, richer and more vibrant with it off. Also the size Imo is the sweetspot for a desktop.

Agreed, came from a dell 2408 and am blown away by this monitor. Combined with a 295x2, worth every penny. Have only tried dying light and tomb raider so far...both absolutely stunning at 1440p.

Moved up from 24" 1080p Samsung (2yr old) ,cant agree more with Mr Turbo . Well happy with it just upgraded the Dp cable to a UGreen made one from the Rainforest place . ;)

Good to know someone is using a 295x2 with the screen and enjoying it! Gives me a rough idea of how happy ill be hopefully :)

Bought Shadow of Mordor last night for 8 quid, absolutely stunning on this screen.

Awesome look forward to playing that with this screen :)

Seriously considering this monitor. Need an upgrade in that department, but think I'll wait for freesync reviews before I jump on it.

My only problem is I dislike being locked to one certain vendor to make the most out of the monitor, especially considering all the hassle I've had with AMD in the last 5 years (out of 7 r9 290s I've owned, or systems ive built for people 5 of them had to be RMA'D).

Adaptive sync is better than g sync. I'm not using Freesync at the minute, 144hz is godly even without it on this screen. Could have Nvidia cards and still enjoy it to be fair.

Freesync for single cards is the 19th, crossfire freesync next month. June was the rumour for the new 3 series cards but it looks like they'll be coming before that now as leaks and rumours are building.
