What reasons?

Didn't get my stuff in today. Tomorrow then (wednesday).
Pump should arrive on thursday then, so can finally build this case together this weekend.

Sucky about the P5B-VM turning out so bad. Hopefully the new Gigabyte G965 or P965 mATX board will be better.

well firstly my ide channel is borked, im not RMA ing as these boards take annoying amounts of time to come from asus, when i first got it it refused to boot said somthing about a fatal error so the system halted, This board cost me £87 for a board thats no better at overclocking than a £40 gigabyte one i had, the chipset temperatures are unusally high even though i have a 60x25mm on the northbridge and a 40x10mm on the south bridge, the list goes on.... i will be ditching this board ASAP when the newer decent MATX boards arrive, although there was one good thing and that is that asus released a new bios raising the fsb from 400 to 500 which is completely ****** useless as there is no pci lock so well done to asus

Have you also tried overclocking without any PCI device?
Might need to disable the onboard sound, but I am curious how overclocking goed then, since there is a PCI-E lock?

Just read on a Dutch site that the ATI RD600 and NVidia 590 SLI chipsets will be out in october.
If Asus hasn't made a new BIOS before that, I will look for a RD600 or 590 motherboard. Hopefully those will have proper BIOS features.

I really doubt anyone will do this again. The last one that was launched (the only SLi mATX motherboard to date) sold 59 pieces in the UK according to the distributor. That's not a market worth having.
strange i would have thought they would have sold a lot more as shuttle do an sli barbone so selling an matx sli board would give people more chioce, ok we will drop the sli but i take it there is going to be an Nforce 570/590 matx board

I'd be really interested to know how many of those £400 shuttles they actually sold. I'd reckon not an enormous number. Given that this thread started off with "I want a fully tricked out mATX board that I can overclock for £40 or so", I'd say the market for mATX SLi is limited as most people want to build a small cheap PC or an HTPC where the last thing you need is a powerful graphics card. I'm running an ASUS P5NSLi which is the only game in town under £100 at the moment, and they're hardly flying off the shelves (albeit not helped by an erroneous review that said they didn't clock well  ).
