Should be fine for Zelda.I can't imagine it controls too well with only 4 face buttons and no joystick though!
I managed to play a few levels of Goldeneye 007 on the RG35XX.
Looks to be working in Koriki now too... (Zelda seen 6 mins in)

Saturn doesnt work too well for me but most of the games are ports of arcade games anyway. Luckily there's MAME, Sega NAOMI, Sega Model M2 and Model M3 (M3 through Supermodel Assistant)completely in love with the steam deck, spent the last few days setting up emulation stuff on it, it is a amazing system im up to ps2 games at the moment and got sega saturn ones running plus arcade ones and dreamcast, never really tried emulating any thing above the ps1 before
Ever since you've posted this I can't stop googling for Steam Deck ideas. I'd never really been tempted but after watching a load of YouTube videos I think it's the perfect machine for me.completely in love with the steam deck, spent the last few days setting up emulation stuff on it, it is a amazing system im up to ps2 games at the moment and got sega saturn ones running plus arcade ones and dreamcast, never really tried emulating any thing above the ps1 before
I've not had much luck with Xbox emulation using Xenia (I think) albeit only with one game. I've been trying to run Black and it's not even a sideshow. Do you change any specific settings or even use a different emulator for Xbox games? I've just gone with the EmuDeck settings. All other emulators work great for me apart from this one.It also does Xbox and Xbox360 quite well, plus Wii, WiiU, 3DS, Gamecube & Switch all really well
Xbox wise, I use Xemu (0.7.155) Rallisport challenge, Outrun 2006, Richard burns rally, SOF2 and thief deadly shadows all play reasonably well.I've not had much luck with Xbox emulation using Xenia (I think) albeit only with one game. That may explain my issues. Black was an Xbox game that was compatible with the 360. If I’m using a 360 emulator then it’ll be an emulator trying to run an emulator… I’ll try the game in the proper folder and see if it makes any differenceXbox 360 I use Xenia Canary. Only tried Goldeneye 007 reloaded, which plays really well at a solid 60fps.
I have no clue about these devices but I have the backups of my games.
I want to play N64, SNEs, Dreamcast and if possible Xbox games.
What's the best device please.
Yeh, try using Xemu. Appears to be playable with minor issues in Xemu - https://xemu.app/titles/45410083/#BlackThat may explain my issues. Black was an Xbox game that was compatible with the 360. It does those any many more.I have no clue about these devices but I have the backups of my games.

Dreamcast I would personally look at NAOMI instead (Sega arcade after model m2 & m3) though you can do Sega model m aswell. Many Dreamcast games are NAOMI ports. Same with Saturn and Model M.
Xbox isnt 100% perfect but its getting better all the time.
Dreamcast and NAOMI is easy, just setup using Emudeck and I use Emulation Station DE as the only frontend.cheers bud, they sound awesome if a bit of a hassle to set up, my dad liked the steam deck so much he has went and bought the highend version lol
got a 1 terabyte sandisk card coming the morn as well as i cant stop adding games to it, wont be long untill i add a 2 terabyte nvme to it
edit: for setting up a second steam deck for emulation, im guessing i only need to install emu deck and them copy my whole emulation folder over to it? its over 40 gig at the moment lol
am i correct in thinking its that easy? then dad can have all my emulation stuff

Sega Model 3 I use SuperModel Assistant with Proton Experimental set.
Sega Mode 2 also requires proton and specific Proton setup in Protontricks. e.g. directx version, vcrun 2010. Then you need to setup the shortcut target and start in paths and basic launch options.
Or instead of individual entries, you use another frontend like Emulation Station DE or the main emulator. I use WinUAE for Amiga because PUAE in Emulation station isnt as easy to manage IMO
Most games (non Steam) need Proton Experimental to properly work, some older stuff does need tweaking, but thats part of the fun!
Here's a guide on Sega Model 2. No ROMs or game mentioned here of course only info on setup

I do both, i went on a rampage of tweaking/modding at first - just getting things to work that dont even work on Windows. Things like Windows 9X games and Windows XP games that work on the Deck that dont work on Win 10.I've been looking at the Steam Deck since it was mentioned here. Wow, how did I not pay attention when this was released. It looks right up my street, I haven't got one yet but they look to have done a great job with it. The fact it can have the needed upgrades and compatability with dual boot etc.
I'm hoping I don't go on a tweaking/modding frenzie with it and actually play some games lol
I missed the Dreamcast console so I want to get into that, but I mainly want to play read dead 1 and 2.
