Mine appears to have cleared completely.

/edit - No, I'm wrong. It was showing zero on the app but on the web site, it's showing a pot value of £1.

not strictly on topic

Chip account, noticed there's also a "prize draw" thing

so its like premium bonds? just deposit some money to be in with a chance of winning for free ?

I've decided to open a premium bond account for my 8 months for savings.

Considering 8 months isn't really much in interest I'd rather gamble that bit of interest in the bonds.

The rates on easy access isas aren't worth it

It looks like it, no idea of the odds though vs Premium bonds but the cost is lower per entry, £100 minimum but you get 10 entries with that.

You don’t want to open an SIPP instead? From what I gather, under like £10k or like £20k? in PB the odds are low.

Reason is ill be spending it once I've saved enough. So no fixes are appropriate.

At least there's a chance to win something.

Can't wait until easy access accounts start offering these sorts of rates again

Its all OK boys, they are putting more pressure on the banks now. They will definitely buckle any time soon. We all know that all you have to do to bring a bank in line is ask a few times. They are legendarily keen on making less money and giving customers the best deals to their own detriment.
