Best video doorbell....

If you mean the POE version it will not work via WI-FI

POE version actually can be powered by normal power as well

Wired wireless
I bought the poe one as I got the opportunity to run a fresh cable of my choosing and I chose ethernet as I have my poe router underneath my stairs.

I'll need to chase the wall that's next to my front door and run the cable along there, punch a hole through the bricks to outside and the cable pops out there.

I'll also run the cable underneath my floorboards and back into the router. Job done.

The downstairs of my yard has bare floorboard exposed as I am doing renovation.

Sounds good and something I could have run, had it not been for the fact we already had hard wired from the Ring and a solar Reolink on the front of the house, with Mesh 2.4 & 5.0 close by

Just finished replacing the EZVIZ DB1 doorbell with Reolink WiFi version. Almost same functionality and image quality to me but better integrations with Home Assistant which the EZVIZ didnt have.
Also seems to have better wifi connectivity as the previous one always used to drop out. I could use the same wiring to power, and even the drill holes matched!

With Prime Day coming in a couple of weeks, I’m looking to pick up my girlfriend a Ring Video Doorbell (hopefully with a little bit of discount for me!) as part of her house warming present.

She’s just moved in to her own house, it’s a new build with a standard doorbell press outside and ringer box in the hall.

I use Apple Home (HomeKit) with my own devices but native HomeKit doorbells are short on the ground, out of the ones that are available they won’t work with her existing ringer box.

Could someone recommend me which Ring doorbell I should be looking at her please?

Just get the cheapest, it works a treat. Recently I've been talking to a Copper on it while I was in Menorca and this weekend talking to Royal Mail while I was in Cardiff. Also notifies when people are approaching.
Don't forget to get the best out of it you need a subscription if you want your recordings in the cloud.
