Yeah - couldn't track one down either so I ended up going with the MSI Ace instead. Got to admire the balls on Asus when everyone else is bundling wifi as standard...

the most important question is will they honor the prices when people have pre ordered or use the whole pre ordered excuse and refund and then people will buy the motherboard on overclockers from a cry of outrage

Ultra has dual Finned Heatsink Design where as Pro just has it on the main bank . If theres a non Wifi version of the Pro and you dont need Wifi, id get that and put pennies towards CPU.

There are no plans to bring the WIFI PRO to the EU market currently.

I can understand getting the price itself wrong, but a discount was applied, which had to be deliberate surely?

Anyway, we'll find out soon enough, they charged my account this morning and I received two emails confirming that the order is awaiting picking.

Pretty sure taking payment is the point legally they can’t cancel, or has that changed with the new SOGA?

Surely you can't take payment for an order you don't intend to honour? Is that not fraud?

That's never been the case, they can cancel it right up until delivery unless their T&Cs aren't very good at protecting them.

Aye, taking payment is usually seen as agreement of the contract. Of course they can unilaterally just cancel and give you the money back but it’s shady and your only option would be to take it up trading standards.

Aye not even on the page? I’ve noticed this with the Gigabyte Xtreme as well. Maybe the lead time on them is long/unknown they’re not willing to take pre-orders on them.
