Used to be into JackFrags/Frankie but Frankie got way too scripted for me and JackFrags constant easter egg shenanigans started to **** me off.

Excellent thread OP, some brilliant suggestions in here. Thanks lads!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned NODE. Utterly fantastic, feels like you've popped over to a mates house for a gaming session.

www.youtube.com/user/Node

Essentially, one lad turned his appartment into a permanent LAN party and this group play mostly new PC games together. Very impressively editted.

It's their job.

You don't want to get paid for working?

They should be up front about how they are making their money (i.e. paid endorsements) because all of them accept the money but wont talk about it.

I personally can't fathom why people watch most of the gaming content on YT.

Personally, I watch Rooster Teeth / Lets play (same people two different channels).
Gbay99 (for LoL).
LoL Sports
Yogscast (mainly Sjin and Sips)
And KSI's channels (less than the others)

PsiSyndicate Like his arma / dayz stuff
Zisteau a lot of minecraft stuff but really loved his skyrim and dark souls series
Sips anything he does i end up in tears laughing

SyndicateProject,
Jacksepticeye,
SpeirsTheAmazing,
CaptainSparklez,
xRpmx13,
PewDiePie,
Boogie,
Some others I have forgot...

Minecraft people mostly, with a few others to spice it up. Highly enjoying The SyndicateProject, funny and of a similar age. Plus doing damn well for himself as most subscribed solo youtuber. Plus he doesn't spam videos for the sake of it which is good.

Another vote for Frankie (his Dayz series was superb) and also Yogscast: Simon and Lewis. The Moonquest series is brilliant.

Both regularly have me laughing :)

Reading the thread might help your quest to fathom.

I check out mattchat's videos from time to time. He mainly reviews older classic games but sometimes a newer inde title gets reviewed. Some of his reviews are a little long but he usually gives good tips to new players and i find i get a good idea of the gameplay and mechanics after watching. I dont find him as obnoxious as a lot of youtube reviewers and lets players. He's interviewed classic game developers like Richard Garriott, Romero, Tim Cain, Brian Fargo, Chris Avellone which gives a great insight into the making of games like doom, quake, fallout, planescape torment, wasteland, ultima ect. I also find he doesnt get nearly as many views as i feel he deserves so i thought i'd mention him here.
