Build a border in NI. Sod it. Its only going to Pee off a few 100 thousand Irish. Better still give them a referendum and fiddle it so they win.

Yeah, a border in NI. That'll end well.

As for giving NI independence from the UK - not sure if srs.

The public were lied to.
...
Let the people vote again, if the country votes to leave then elect a leave Gov and crash out into WTO. At least then we'll have voted for what Brexit actually means.
There's been 2 years of pro-remain propaganda on tv. People have been lied to in preparation for another referendum. So it's less valid than the first because at least the first had lies on both sides.
...
"If people vote leave again then we'll leave" doesn't work if leave isn't even one of the options.

Extracting ourselves from the EU has proved to be all but impossible.
Agreed but...
The only reason the uk is a sovereign nation (whilst currently allowing the eu to make laws which apply here) is because it can leave the eu.
If we can't actually practically leave then none of the eu members are sovereign nations. We have been conquered. That's why it's worth 100% of gdp to leave, 10% is a bargain.

It’s the Irish border that is the main problem, what did brexiteers say about it before the referendum. I can’t remember it being mentioned.
It's a non issue. The eu insisted on it to remove the dup votes from supporting the government. So the government would be replaced with another who would call a 2nd referendum and brexit would be thwarted.

So we already have several conspiracies touted from the resident loons. :D

The paltry turnout shows most people just dont care, other than a handful of traitors who are intent on destroying the country with their bigotry.

Who exactly have we been conquered by? We are in the EU, we are the EU and we have a veto to prevent more EU than we'd really like.

It's being discussed in the Tommy Robinson thread. It was actually mentioned on the BBC News website because they put it in the politics subreddit section which no-one reads. It wasn't on the main page, the UK page or linked to the main news story commenting on Brexit. I missed it too.

It also didn't appear until well after the march, I think. Current time stamp is 5:30pm, though it might have shown up a couple of hours before. In any case, the article is buried and pretty useless. It mainly just recycles old crap about Tommy Robinson who was only on stage for around 5 minutes and one of many speakers. TR's speech was basically: I don't really know much about Brexit. Listen to the other people if you want to be informed. I'm here because the issues I deal with wont get fixed unless the British people govern themselves.

If you read the BBC article (if you can FIND the BBC article), you'd think TR was the chief organizer and it was all about him, rather than him having a minor speaking part in it.

Wow..one of the most ignorent abhorrent things I have read. 3000 dead, and countless maimed and left scared.

Sadly I'm very ignorant to the troubles. I remember learning about it at school and was a very different person then, so didn't really learn anything unless it was for an exam.

Is there a good site that really summaries the events well?

Smear campaign, dumb asses falling for it.

Didn't even know there was a march today. That said though, why were rent-a-mob AntiFa there to oppose a pro-Brexit march? Are they saying that anyone who voted to get out of the EU is a fascist?

They're Antifa. So yes - Fascist according to them is whoever they don't like today.

The BBC article also made out it was some kind of racist, fascist rally. I believe both groups think if they repeat it enough it will become the truth in the public eye and anyone who might voice support for Brexit will be too afraid of being thought a bigot.

Not a chance IMO, far too many "leavers" like myself have come to realise that Boris, Farage and Co. sold us a heard of unicorns and rainbows about how easy getting an amazing Brexit deal was going to be, leaving the country quids in. Far too many planet reality bazookas have been fired over the last ~2.5 years, sinking the the Brexit Utopian ship

The Boris and Farage show is why I voted Remain. I took the time to read through the promises they were making and mostly concluded it was either over-optimistic or dishonest, depending. I also have a huge amount of contempt for Boris Johnson and I don't think that much of Farage, either. Their lies pretty much dissuaded me from any willingness to side with them.

UKIP are truly scraping the bottom of the barrel is they have to involve the racist Yaxley_Moron in the absence of anyone else prepared to rant on their behalf.
