US: Better Call Saul

That was an OK episode, quite good that Mike found a way to not completely cross the line in the end and Jimmy still at his corporate job... just. I'd guess this season is going to be the progression towards and will perhaps culminate with them ending up in their breaking bad personas though.

Good to see a couple more Breaking Bad characters, Tuco and the gun dealer.

Tuco was in season 1 as well JS. :)

Jimmys supposed to be the lead in this show, but I can't help but feel it's a joint lead between Jimmy and Mike.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. Mike was a big part of BrBa. He and Saul obviously developed a relationship prior to the events of BrBa, and BCS is doing a great job of revealing more about their characters outside of "they met and now they're best buddies doing dirty stuff together".

I mean Mike's episode about his son last season was phenomenal. I can only hope we get more of that calibre.

Not moaning, I like it too. I think Mike and Saul are among the 2 best characters in recent TV history. Makes sense to play it the way they are. And yes, the episode with Mike in Season 1 was among some of the best telly ever!

Last night my mum was watching it with her partner and said that she thought Bob Odenkirk was really good looking. I had a little chuckle to myself as her number one crush since the 90's has been Kevin Costner :D

To be fair he is quite a good looking guy (ignoring the dodgy hair he has for the show) and has something about him. Definitely quite handsome in his younger days. Yeah though, funny that her crush was Kevin Costner, he does have a bit of that look about him (no doubt why they used that in the show)

I like how it has split them up more now and we're getting more back story on everything that happened to get them to the point of BB.

That was as good as any episode of Breaking Bad, with the possible exception of "Ozymandias". The performance from Banks was flawless.

Totally agree. I didn't just watch that episode, I felt it. It hit you right in the gut. A supreme example of acting and storytelling.

When I heard the bell ring in the diner I knew it was the same as the bell Hector Salamanca uses in BB but I wasn't expecting him to walk through the door. Awesome stuff. :D

Interplay between Mike and Hector is so good to watch. 2 badasses who know it of each other.

Love the pace and character depth of the show. With the little twists it's not as simple as saying this character is the bad/good guy.

The show doesn't need a cliffhanger after every episode.
