US: Better Call Saul

Pretty silly response tbh.

I agree not a great deal is happening right now. That's not a reason to not watch it. It has flashes of greatness so like a football fan hoping his team can give that great performance this weekend, you watch with hope.

Mind you, I do wonder if the greatness is mainly based on what BB did and we're (I'm) waiting for it to be more like BB?

Its never going to be anything like BB, they have said that very clearly in all press events before and during the airing of the show. People tend to forget that BB was a massive slow burner in the first few seasons, with occasional pivotal episodes.

I think it's brilliant. Yes it's slow, but the character development is great (yeah there may not be many characters to develop, so this can be quite easy) and the story is clearly expanding to how he became to how we saw him in BB. It's just a great little story with, yet again, some outstanding camera work.

Man I love the camera work in this.

big balls indeed! great episode. I will be interesting to see how things play out for Jimmy and Kim and where it all goes horribly wrong.

probably something related to her moving over to the rival law firm in the sandpiper case (even though the partner she met with said he'll keep her away from it if she moved)

Mike definitely has balls, I like how he has his code/solid principles... too like he felt he had to give back money as he couldn't hold up his side of the bargain re: Tuco.

I was surprised that guy wasn't threatening Mike and getting in his face for bailing Tuco out and going back on their deal...? He seemed quite placid as he came to pay Mike.

After recent events, perhaps Nacho thought threatening Mike one to one wouldnt be the wisest move.

Anyway, Mike would have succeeded if it wasn't for Hectors intervention. Even Nacho probably accepted that once Mikes granddaughter was threatened there was nothing else Mike could do.
