It's the same kind of thing that happened with Temple of Doom and Ghostbusters 2. The original films are a different beast altogether, then the sequels almost feel like they are made for a wider or younger audience.

Well Ghostbusters 2 definitely took some inspiration from the RGB cartoon, even Janine started to look a bit like the cartoon counterpart, slimer constantly in the firehouse, and the way some of the equipment worked mirrored the cartoon vs how it was in the first movie.

Why not. It's totally legitimate to react to Netflix-only. Striking difference to the first time round when you could walk into any cinema.

Not really a valid point when you could take a one month Netflix subscription for about the cost of a single cinema ticket. Straight to video has been a thing for years and let’s be honest that is going to be much more the quality of this!

I mean, Cobra Kai was actually pretty decent, mainly carried by the character Johnny Lawrence but even so.
