BF Hardline Visceral Games

Heavy barrel and stubby does this. In BF4 spread was actually a thing. IIRC, with the stubby grip, I think the maximum spread of some of these weapons is now less than it's minimum spread!
This also leads to the issue that until you've got the right attachments on the gun and un-learnt everything you knew about shooting in BF4 you are going to get a pasting.

Especially if you run the heavy barrel and vertical grip. The vertical grip basically negates negative impact of the heavy barrel so it's perfect if you tend to move while shooting. Otherwise you can run the stubby. I'm really keen to try out the battle riffles though, the SCAR with the compensator and stubby looks like fun.

Ok, the DRM thing, don't be stupid guys...

It's possibly reading that the one licence is being put in 'slightly' different machines based off hardware id's, in very short periods of time. I bet if he did this over the span of a few weeks. No problems.

I'm on EA's side here, he's using the game licence in an unusual way and as a result, automatically ban. He will ask for an exception and done.

The gunplay last night felt very CoDish to me. It seems BFHL is trying to bridge that gap, but I admit I have very little personal experience to base that on! lol :p

Will be playing some tonight though! Get in!

I'm up for more this evening. I want to try out the sabotage gadget which looks to be a easy kill.

Initial spread is less with the vertical grip, but it's not that bad anyway, with the vertical grip it will only take a few bullets (2 maybe 3) until it's spread is greater than with the stubby.

If it's within a short time span I can accept it, but if it's a running total that is useless.

Its similar but much faster. The weapons are a lot more powerful so you'll die quicker.

It clearly wants teamplay but hasn't promoted it very well by giving the support class poor weapons so you'll rarely get ammo.

It can only get better and its good enough to play at the moment :).

This is very hard to get used to that's for sure!

Anyone else get Vsync turning off every time the game is turned off?
You shouldn't use Vsync, as I said in the BF4 thread, same thing applies. ;)

Don't use VSync, it causes input lag, Use a user.cfg and put this in it..

perfoverlay.drawfps 1
gametime.maxvariablefps XXX

change XXX to your desired FPS cap. drop it in your BF4 install folder, Google if you need more info. :)

..and no, I don't get anything resetting each time.
