BF2 Team [OcUK] intersted?

Count me in. My clan is really REALLY Inactive so yeah I would like something a bit more organised. Played BF1942, Desert Combat and BF2 online for a fair bit. I'll d/l Xfire and add tonight.
If needed I can donate a TS2 voice server for the clan

I would have been interested but my clan has just started to get BF2 sorted now. If you want a decent server to play on there is my clans ranked server, always has a minimum of 2 admins on who are not smacktards and I'll happily get people kicked off to make room for you.

i have a ventrilo server which i can set up a private [OcUK] room for all to use if it helps.
a list of servers we frequent would be usefull, i know a lot of you use 50Klicks servers but they only allow 6 clan members in at any given time and their admins are too 'kick' happy .
im quite happy to spend time on empty un-ranked servers where we can get as many of us as possible on to have a mini praccy/scrimm ie 5v5 or more if poss.

I just uphold the rules not create them! Good question. We've had more than 6 OcUK'ers on in the past at a time, then again you werent a proper clan at that point.
To answer, i have no idea. I shall consult my fellow server admins and 50K big chiefs.

yeah got kicked the other day for defending a flag whilst commander, killed a few tagged 50k peeps and they were not too happy, check your forum .
i would suggest, depending on how many want to play, we find an empty server, or hit an unranked as the gameplay is far better with no point whores, stat padders or spawn killers.

If multiple members concur there's no reason for us not to take their word for it.

but seeing as we have your attention, does the 6 player rule apply ?
If your going to form a clan then the answer is a maximum of 6 players will be allowed to play on our server(s) at any given time. This is to make way for publics who want to play
Please understand that 50K has worked really hard to get to its status and by you forming a clan, you'll probably have no interest in sticking/playing with 50K and thats why the decision to limit other clan members(s) to 6 and this is to make way for potentially more members to the evergrowing gaming community.
However you could always defect to 50K

i can remember when 'Jan' tried to set up the 50Klicks irc channel ' #=50k= ', i used to chat to him some nights and get a few peeps to join it. he introduced me to your server and clan back then. used to play on it a lot (pre-2006) . nice fella.
shame the channel isnt used as irc is really handy for communication ,getting scrimms going and dealing with public peeps questions about the server/clan.

Yeah Jan loves all that irc stuff, its quite good for arranging the elite skills 50K owns
Jan is now an admin over at 50K! One thing that winds me up though is how people don't seem to respect our rules. We have like over 1000 signups now with a good percentage of those regular and tagged but you still get some random sign up arguing that our rules are unfair and unjustified (probably cos they got kicked for not abiding by them) but if they were do you reckon the 50K would have got this big? People stick around cos they enjoy the fun bf2 atmosphere, 50K can provide this.
Oh yeah this thread is not some kind of "pimpage" post. 50K seems to run itself interms of member signups these days. At first, we as an admin team worked hard to build on its members count but like everything else once good word spreads, it becomes easy.
Anyway, ocuk have some damn good players so I'm sure your clan will do well, although your goona have to work out some better tactics to fend of 50K
