BFG RMA question

I'm going to be sending my 7800GT OC off in the next couple of days, it's b0rked :(

What will they most likely send me back?

I just rang them, phonecall was less than 5 minutes (about 30-45secs waiting on hold) and everything was sorted there and then for the RMA
----
on a sidenote on their site it states mine has shipped this morning, & a UPS tracking number given

edit: didn't mean to submit without saying that although this is only the third time I've had to RMA a PC/electrical product, this looks like it is going to be the quickest/most painless

Well just a quick update to say that I just got an update from Jeff explaining that my card replacemnent was dispatched today, so I am very happy :)

To be totally honest I havnt a clue what I`ll get back, but even if its the same but a working 8800GTX OC like I sent, I`ll be pleased as my online gaming has come to a stand still:( since the wait.

anyway hopefully all will be firing on all four cylinders very soon:):):)

Wow Jeff Kozlowski has replyed to me so fasted I cant beleave it and he is sorting my problem out for me. Afther 2 weeks of getting nowhere im final getting somwhere thanks to Jeff.

Thanks dude if u stick to what u email me that would be great. All I wanted is some answers for my problem from BFG and Jeff has given me what I wanted. Thanks again dude

Sometimes we do have to ship replacements out of the US due to stock issues. They didn't ship us the card though, just provided the RMA number so we could get it shipped for you.

Rather than you guys waiting for the stock to be replenished, we just ship from here so the wait is shorter. Shouldn't take more than 4 days for you to receive it, depending on UPS (weather and other things might cause delays).

So what am I expecting from the US? Is it a replacement card which is new ? , a repaired card ?
Has it actually been shipped what ever card it is?
Could you please look into it for me please Jeff.
Knowing my luck the way its going 4 days will be 4 weeks.

I dont wish to moan but this sounds like favouritism and starting to look like a very unprofessional service.:eek:

Also no disrespect to the other guy and very good luck to him but he was only enquiring about RMA yesterday and now you are sending him a card back with 2 day service and upgrade! and it would seem he didnt even send the faulty card back???

I've sent you an email explaining in more detail, but when I checked into it your card had already shipped which is why I could not expedite the shipping. Your other concerns have been answered in the email as well.

Ok thanks to Jeff Kozlowski it looks like my problem has been fix he manage to get it sorted fasted for me :) . It looks like my problem was to do with the 2x6 pin - 1x8 pin adaptor that comes with the card. When I contacted Jeff he gave me 2 options. 1 send me a adaptor to try that just incase so I dont have to be without my graphic card. 2 RMA the card.

I went with option 1 just to try to see if it was the adaptor and so far it looks like it was. My system has been on now for over 24 hours since I put the new adaptor on and all seems well. :)

So thank you Jeff for managing to get this sorted for me. I also will be saving your email just incase I do get anymore problems. Thanks again :)
 
perhaps BFG should change there name to jeff.kozlowski gpus considering the service is so poor untill jeff starts dealing with it.

your a assett to their company jeff well done!
