look round gor last years model better lookin imo and will have a hefty chunk of money off

Erm i should have said im getting a big % off this bike as its part of a bike to work scheme where i you get a reduction of 30%approx (Tax + N.I) after a 10% shop discount, it has to be from a particular local shop so it has to be from this years range as they dont stock Kona, im only paying about £470 for it.

I've been riding at Cannock a couple of times and it's awesome, some really good trails.

I've decided I'm going to spend my weekends going places to ride like Wales, Lake/Peak District etc instead of boozing constantly - it's getting boring.

Anyone know of any good websites for good XC rides?

Not mines but heres my mates lol.

Dont **** the DC on a HT please,i do it enough to him :D

Tripple clamps of a hard tail. You sinner.

Not a bad setup there me boyo. Mine's on the previous page.

Forget about all this meet up for a chit chat over a meal malarkey. We need a good biking session and then a good 'ol blokes chat over a pint, what you think ;)?

Manitou arn't to bad. Had a pair of XC forks from them but they were budget boys but didn't go wrong. I find Mazocchi are bomb proof on a whole. Manitou are clever and quite light.

Nice bikes so far Ladies and Gents. Keep them coming.

I told him but he wouldnt listen,i find that much travel on the front immense as i have to run stupid bloody MZ comps that dont work here cause its always cold.
Oh how i wanted giant AC2 frame :(

OOOH just seen your DR-J.I was gonna buy a white one but the guy had sold it and OOOH at the Z1 FR Sl's missed out on a pair of them for £150 on teabay cause my net was off for two days  hence the manitous

How do you find hopes to set up,as in allign,i love how hayes you can untighten and move but i would hate spacers n that or is that easier as it stays that way thereafter???

His juniors have 170mm travel  on a Xc-esque frame geometry

What rotor bolts is that on your rear disk, they look pretty chunky.

Seriously though, what a numpty. Not only does it look ridiculous even on a small dirt jumping frame let alone an 18"+ XC one, what's the point? You just don't need that kind of travel at the front of a hardtail, especially when there's nothing going on out back. I bet it rides like a dog and handles like a shopping trolley full of logs, not to mention the fact the head tube will almost certainly be ripped off the bike or at least flared.

He's the type of guy that will end up putting 20" chrome wheels and four exhaust pipes on a 1 litre Corsa when he's older...

Please post updated pictures when them frame is ripped apart by those forks :) Seriously though that's really not a good idea as many people have already said, not just from the handling point but the stress on the frame is really going to shorten its life.

Its a coyote ht5 or something, google teabay for coyote you'll see it.

My sherman flicks came in today, grey camo flick version with 130mm travel :D chunky  .

I know all of you comments already,i ride my ht with like 90mm travel that shouldnt be called travel and i can be very smooth with it,the 170mm travel feels TOO much on it to the point its scary to ride and the turning circle.........
