No probs, someone posted it in AM thread on mtbr.com

It's quite a good video although some bits are quite rushed (does manage to fit a lot into 30mins though) especially the section on jumping and braking, there's no detail on how to squash jumps which is a techique I'd like to know more about. Some good info on heel position (I never think about that) and using your leg on the frame when doing flat turns - I normally just use my inside thigh of the inside turning leg on the side of the saddle.

Love how he says "comfortable" :p

I absolutely suck at climbing, is there a lot of it at Cannock? I think a leisurely pace sounds like a good plan.

There are a fair amount of climbs but nothing hard. The hardest climbs are the fire road on Follow the Dog and Kit bag hill Immediately after the Monkey Trail has finished. Even they aren't hard, they are just quite long and straight.

There are a few switchback climbs winding up hills but they are easy, it's harder to walk them! :D

Walking the climbs!? Come on guys, feel the burn! :D

How do you expect to improve if you don't push it (fitness wise)

I think because I ride mostly on my own, there's nobody to push me so the motivation to climb isn't there. Plus, why waste energy climbing that can be used for more descents? :d

9 runs done so far in morzine and les gets. 2 tyres and a saddle written off so far. And a whole day has gone by without me crashing. Shockaroony.

I went out to Llandegla today for a blast, had a good afternoon there. I went a bit later than I normally do and it seemed to be a bit quieter, barely saw anyone else out on the trails which was quite good. At least it wasn't like last time when it was rammed with people all over the place!

I have noticed quite a few pushy dads there recently with young kids. Last time there was a man with a young kid out on the red trail, shouting at his kid, calling him a loser etc because he couldn't keep up. This time there was a guy in the car park near me as I was packing up with his son crying, telling him "you being a cry baby ruined the last part for me" and generally calling him useless. Felt like going over and pointing out to him that his son was only about 8, not some downhill champion yet!

Figured I'd take some pics this time too..

Climbs at Cannock??? I must have blinked and missed them when I rode there :p

Got to be worth re-aiming that front brake banjo and shortening that hose Supercow?

Whats Cannock like compared to LLandegla? Its not much further for me to drive and as I'm missing the meet I figured if its worth it, I might take a trip there at some point in the summer.

Are there good trails there? I'll be back in south Manchester at the end of July so maybe you can show me round :D

Llandegla is better....imo.

Having been to both I'd say Llandegla has some very good parts (Parellel Universe, Free ride and skills areas) but generally as a trail I'd say Cannock is just as much fun. Some of the descents are excellent.

Cafe is better at Llandegla, just. The bike shop at Cannock is better.

The views and scenery in Wales obviously beats Cannock :D

Overall I'd say for a fun ride they are about even, Llandegla has smoother trail and slightly better facilities than Cannock. Definitely worth a drive though.
