I wouldn't recommend the CCDB unless you are riding all the time and know what you like...or just have deep pockets.

Purplehead on here got a pushed Fox Van R and it transformed his Enduro from a squishy POS to a pretty awesome (for a Spesh :p) bike.

Give these guys a phone before you buy anything. :)

I mean when riding 'bumpy' forest trails - nothing particularly gnarrrr...

When sat on it, sag is around 15-20%

You want more sag. I have less pressure in the shock on my AM6 and weigh slightly more. I'd noticed I'd used all of the travel last night on a trip round Gisburn but didn't actually notice it bottoming out once.

saddles are a very personal preference mate, if you dont fin dthat one confy you might struggle tbh.

I use the Fizik Gobi XM which have quite a bit of flex and are very comfy.

I currently have the Specialized Body Geometry Hardrock seat but want a better more comfy one, if possible. Any recommendations?

I didn't like the saddles on either of my Specialized bikes and changed them for SDG Bel Air saddles, much better in my opinion but then saddles are a very personal preference..

Definitely personal preference. A little advice doesn't help though! Thanks lads. :)

A video from today's ride at Long Mynd. Epic day.
