Hmmm - lack of bolt-on mech hanger suggests steel rather than alu and looks to have V-brake mounts.

and the welds look like ones on alu

looks liek a giant too me

anyways ill have a bike of the 20" wheeled variety to post later this week when me new frame arrives

It's alloy with a bolt on hanger, the tubes are too big to be steel.
