Excellent video too - there are times when I found myself leaning from side to side as you weave your way through some narrow gaps!

FTD rules. Section 13's claimed me once though, got a blow out on the low section where it rejoins the main track on landing the jump. Buckled the rim that bad I had to do the walk of shame.

The helmet camera and recording device is from http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/. Image quality is actually much better than in the utube video; I had to compress it down a lot to get it under the 100mb file size limit :/ Recording is done at 720x576 @ 4Mbps but converting it down to 2Mbps still produces good enough quality for full screen viewing.

Can someone please advise on the following rear gear problem?

I've pulled the cable tight on the with rear derailleur the chain on the small cog and it starts to shift up fine, but on the down shift the cable doesn't return properly so the shifter is very lose when shifting back up. All this means the rear gears don't move

Would take a guess its either a kink in the cable or **** on the cable stopping it being pulled back through smoothly.

I replaced the cable 3 weeks ago with the only one that Halfords stock (£3). So now is the time where I realise the false economy

Check the inner has not frayed within the outer, or indeed anywhere along it's length.

the 303 is ace. i sold my enduro s-works and built that up as i felt full sus wasnt for me - it did all the work and left me feeling detatched from the trail.

have you seen the pace 506???
