Some new bits arrived this morning. Spent my lunch hour fitting a new XTR double chainset to the Blur.

About 1/2 a pound of mud on there ATM. :D I'll finish things off tonight.

Still undecided on the bike i want, im still leaning towards the canyon nerve. But im wondering could i get a bike built for £2k as good as a canyon nerve al 8.0 if i bought the parts seperately?

I don't think the Inline replaces the Double Barrel Airs that are already in the lineup.
Seems like the large volume air cans are only available in the other models right?

No, its an addition... but perhaps looks like a better option for my use.

Not sure about the larger volume cans, I guess it's early days, but not a worry for me as the five is more linear in the first place and I think they're only suitable for lighter riders? (I'm 15/16st)

in the article it says its aimed at aggressive shorter travel (120-150) bikes than the double.

i see TFT are taking preorders at £360.00.

be interesting to see what the ride reviews are like. not that they make on in my size (178x50)

Yea, reckon the Five can do with a lot of ramp up, so the Inline would possibly be better.

Than the double?
Both are twin tube designed shocks.

That statement is what I found strange and unsure whether the Standard DBair is being replaced or not. The standard DBair is also aimed at that travel range (AM bikes).

evening guys,
My bikes creaking a bit now and its driving me nuts...
Took cranks and pedals off put more grease on where the bearings are on the pedals.
Cranks i cleaned and made sure they were tight enough.

If i bounce up and down on the bike i get no creaks, seems to only be when i have to push on the pedals hard so going up hill etc.
The bottom bracket nice and tight.
Any idea whats like;y to the cause?

have you checked chainring bolts? I had an annoying creak on my nukeproof when i had it, for weeks i tryed everything, BB, cranks, pivots, turned out to be the chainring bolts...

I don't know, but I can't see them ditching the double. Unless the inline is just aimed at frames with less clearance? Be interesting to read any official press releases.

I'm right in saying I couldn't even make up 178 to 190mm with offset bushes.. :(

No I mean, I think this is still double barrel, unless I'm mistaken? (Double Barrel Inline)
Or did they drop the DB name entirely for this?

Supercow - are you still the UK distributor for the Shan?

You're site is down? Zulubikes..

Ah mate, been so frickin busy it's unreal. It's been on my to-do list for ages and I'm just not getting around to it. But yes, we are.

Do you have some in stock?

I shall drop you a PM in the morning, if that's alright.

I was up at Gisburn today enjoying dry and dusty trails. I normally only head there when the local natural stuff is unrideable without causing damage but fancied having a look at the recent Enduro lines. The first stage was great but the second was very cut up so not much fun.
