Just had a crash on my Tricross 2009. I bought it from Evans, would it be best going to the shop to consult about a repair or would anybody advise going to an independant repair shop?

I've got a buckled wheel, some brake damage and all the gripping has been taken off the left side of my handle bars.. scratches I can deal with.

I would take it to a good local bike shop.

Is the one on the right a Spesh? Cant see the picture good enough as I browsing on the phone. The other doesn't look like a Makulu to me!

Ive started saving for a '10 spec Makulu in white. Its just pure bike pOrn haha!

Not the best pictures as it's dark, and it still has the reflectors on! I managed to get half an hour of messing about done though before the sun went down, i'm loving the pitch! :D :D :D

hey guys, ive managed to mangle the QR dropouts on my dart2 forks (they dont like tree stumps at stupid angles) so im looking for some replacements, as the fork market is such a mine field with cheap forks here and there, and mid range forks everywhere, with every one of them with different options im confused.

Bike is a 08 Commencal CombiDisc, and so far im into a bit of everything excluding downhill obviously, so im looking for a fork that will cope with XC/AM/TR sort of riding, for around the 150-250 mark, gotta be the traditional QR, i must say im looking at Marzocchi forks, they look nice hehe.

It's Nathan Rennie's one. They kept the frame raw and polished it. He's also running the BOS RARE (Race Ready) fork, which is the top level BOS fork (BOS Idylle < BOS Idylle Pro < BOS Idylle RARE).

The owner's gone and made it a bit more hardcore hasnt he. Looks nice though.

(I fought the urge to reply :"But the Yellow Makulu is behind it?!!" :D)

Marzocchi aren't producing the best forks at the moment, you should look at Rock shock and within your budget as said above you should get
RockShox Tora 318 Coil U-Turn Fork £240 or if you want air and not coil RockShox Tora SL Solo Air Fork

Great weather today so decided to go for a ride in Richmond Park - I live only a few minutes away and yet hardly ever use it - will definetely be going more often if the weather is good.

Ended up doing 35km with an average speed of 24kmh - had to take a few breaks though as my bloodsugar wouldn't stay up :(
