Ouch, £30 each now!! 2.1 and 1.9 are the actual sizes, sorry about that. I run the street version as it has a decent sidewall, park version is too thin.

Very nice. Love white frames :D

Get those refelctors and bell off though ;)

How are you finding the Juicy 3's? If I was going to get one, the brakes would be the first thing I would upgrade.

Yeah, i love the white too! I haven't really been out on it since i got it yet, i'll be taking her out this weekend hopefully. I think i will take off the bell and reflectors, it wont be used on any roads or at night anyway.

These are my first hydraulic brakes, so to me they feel great. I don't have anything to compare them against though.

What are you riding then mate?

My god, not another one :p You will end up blinding someone with those reflectors

Is that another WTB seat, same as the one on the Marin above? I had one very similar to it when I got my bike. Its not very comfortable at all. Changed it to a Charge Spoon. Its much much better.

Heh i knew once i posted that picture that issue would come up. Once i took the picture and uploaded it i noticed how much they stand out, but will be taking them off before i go out on it next.

Looking at that picture i believe it is the same seat, im finding it quite comfortable so far, also using padded Endura shorts though so shall see in time.

From my experience Juicy 3's do the job of stopping pretty well for budget brakes. For sure Ultimate’s are noticeably better but they cost significantly more.

This is what happened when the chain decided to let go, snapping one side off a link off and twisting the whole thing... nearly sending me over the bars...

Working in the kitchen, the only way when its raining outside :p

Anyway, I got the new rear mech on (another X-7) and new chain...

With having a new chain, Ive realised that I need a new cassette. The chain slips quite often when trying to pick up some speed. How hard are they to change over? Are the bearings a pain to deal with? I might just get the LBS to change it over.

My road bike tyres say 125 PSI should both wheels be filled to that pressure? I have manage to get 100 PSI in them but anymore i think they'll pop.

I assume that at least some of you guys have your bikes insured... If so, would anyone mind letting me know what company you are using? I guess it may be a case of tacking on some extra insurance to possessions cover, but if there are better standalone deals i would be interested to know.

On an unrelated note, i might be headed up to Whinlatter this week if the weather is good. I have never been to a trail centre before, so if anyone has been and knows what its like, that would be great!
