Any fellow roadies kicking off their winter training schedules? I'm still doing my commuting on my FCR 1 (30 miles a day) plus 3 days a week of 1 hour at least on Bianchi 928 C2C on a turbo trainer.

Nice Morewoods :)
Apart from the weight difference (coil vs air)aren't those a bit too similar in terms of geometry and riding style?

The Mbuzi climbs great without tiring me out, descends brilliantly and is very nippy, what more could I want? :)
Don't see why I would need a "pure XC" bike if the Mbuzi can do all of the above :D

All my "xc" rides end up with me trying to bomb it on the downhill bits, bunny hop and pop over most roots I can find and play on jumps.
Besides, its the kind of geometry I like

Thanks dude. I can't honestly say about the shocj yet.
I think I need to put some more compression in it to begin with as I'm on 50% sag at the moment. Will let you know after some more riding.

Fit a new SRAM XX Chainset in it's place :p

Sold him a used twice raleigh synchro for £200. He was willing to listen that the bike was *****.

Wish I had the cash to have as nice bikes as you lot. Want to get some new bits on the bighit and keep it for what it was built for and then build a hardtail up for messing around on :)

I was thinking last night looking at Phil's Trek - there are some seriously nice bikes in this thread!

I wonder what the total value would be if we added it up :o

GDP of a small country no doubt :D

Well add around £100 to the total value for my bike :p

Ordered a 2010 Session 8 in the end. Had it for a mega good price so couldnt turn it down. Didnt fancy spending the extra on the session 88 as im gonna be changing and custom tuning a few things so pointless really. Looking towards a November delivery. So hopefully be on time!
