when are the '10 models out?

collisster

Depends on the make/model.Some are out already, some won't be for months, some don't do model years.

The Scale 35 comes with Rockshox Reba forks which are still better than Fox F100's (in my opinion)

You what? Those forks are in a completely different league from each other and can't be compared! The Fox forks are double the price of the Reba's!

Quick question about road bike sizing - Treks in particular.

I'm looking at a 5.2 Trek Madone on ebay, but its a 54cm frame, whereas looking at the sizing charts, at 6ft I should be looking at something more like 58cm? Just wondered if anyone had any specific experience of Treks though - I always prefer the look of bikes with high seatposts anyway, but is 54cm going to be pushing it a bit far? For info, I have a 19" frame on my Specialized Rockhopper which fits great

4cm height wise is nothing if you ask me

in honesty though it looks like a pricey bit of kit so might be best to see if you can try one out somewhere if you may have second thoughts

My road bike (bianchi, not trek) is a 58. Im 6ft1 and i still have the seatpost up a fair bit. See if you can have a test ride at your LBS if your unsure of the size.
(edit: its also more efficient to have a bigger frame with a shorter seatpost because long ones flex more - but its not going to be a noticeable difference.)

Cheers, I think I'd better leave it to be on the safe side. Its an auction ending today so no time to test the size.

It looks so pretty though in UPS colours :)

Im 6ft 2" and my Giant TCR was a large frame, 55.5cm but thats Giant's compact frame sizing you(which hasnt changed in the last 5 years as ive found out with loads of ppl asking on fleabay when i auctioned mine)

Don't judge on price, 2010 Fox Fork prices have gone through the roof e.g. £830 for 150mm Talas 32's

I wasn't judging on price but I know what you mean. The 2010 Fox 36 Talas RC2 is £930! £200 more than I paid for mine last year for what is essentialy the same unchanged fork!

Got grease?

That'll be no....
