Sorry, I have to quote that again, just because it is monumentally pretty and I'm so jealous.

Must resist looking on eBay.........

Actually, anyone got any experiance of singlespeed cyclocross bikes? I'm thinking about adding one to the collection.

There are some amazing bargains on there, bikes seem to go for quite cheap, saw a Pinarello with Dura ace all over go for 1K, looked like 4K brand new.

Also saw a few bikes worth 3K when new going for £800 all in good condition.

Rode to work today, got a wet scream on the front and a swamp thing on the back mind you.. Managed some sweet drifts down the steep hills :D

Tricross Singlecross?

That's exactly what I was thinking of (if the TT bug doesn't bite me). I was looking for a winter commuter to stop my roadie getting eaten alive.

They seem to be in short supply at the moment though. Saw one fro £350, but too small for me and can't find them anywhere else.

Good man :D

Shame about the hanger, dunno about yours, but the box on mine might as well have not been there for all the use it was!

Good to see you also got the Mk1, apparently the Mk2 is an inferior build quality.

Where did you get it? And how much did it set you back? (If you dont mind me asking)

:eek:Emailed Chain Reaction, Sue I Will get a reply soon. Just going to stick it in the vice this afternoon and bend it back.
Not impressed with box it came in either! just a bit of bubble wrap around the main parts of the frame. Plus the stickers.... im sure they will all come off in the next 6 months.

price wise, On CRC 19.5" in red, discounted price of £445!

Remember that the hangar is going to be weakend and gears might not shift properly. I have a nice Heckler mech hanger key ring for that very reason.

Looks decent (except for the hanger). Looks pretty tight for a 19.5" too, I guess that's the sloping downtube though. I was pondering one of these for ages, could've justify the loot though... this pic is making me think twice!

They're very nice bikes, I built a while one up for a friend in the summer. It's so much lighter than my bike and it started me off upgrading my Vagrant to make it lighter. I'm still the wrong side of 30lbs but it's slowly shedding the weight!

Be careful, you will be going much faster than on your previous bike. :D

Oh, and looking at that picture, does anyone else see something that's a bit odd?
