There is so much metal at the back its a bit OTT is it not? and Dual suspension is it?

Um? The back doesnt break though does it? That frame cracks at the bits that curve round the shock.

Robbie doesnt really like the 6 pots and he went from C2's. I had a shot of a guys norco with 6 pots and they felt ok but i dont like the fact you really have to pull the lever to get power  theres not a huge initial bite but there is bags of power.

johnny i came so close to getting a demo8, the shop i got my stinky from had an ex demo one in for 1700 but it was gone when i went in to have a look at it :(

a mate has a demo 9 and its unreal how big drops it takes and much you can get away with going over and not feeling it.

drazic

whats going to stop that trails frame twisting sideways when spinning ?

how thick are the plates ?

am sure you know what your doing ,but am just curious lol

That demo 8 looks heavy, how much does it weight?

Its actually not bad for what it is. Dont know the exact weight but its just a bit heavier than my mates 2002 stinky with 2002 juniors and generic other parts. My brothers stinky is pretty light cause its a 99 special edition with the easton tubing. :)

I thought I'd ask in here instead of making a new thread. I wanted to know how much a second hand Specialized Crossroads Comp from 2005 is worth second hand as I'm thinking of buying one. The seller is asking for £140.

How much is the newer model new?

2nd hand bikes value really does go right down, its sold what you think its worth really and depends what condition it is in. But i will never pay more than half price.

The front section isheld apart by carobn fiber tubes that i have just finshed building! I just have to polish them now!

Tere will be a 9.5mm stainless steal bolt all the way through which is custom made, this is done 4 times on the front end

On the rear same bolts but alloy tube incase.

Plate is 8mm all round, so the rear on each side will be 16mm thick in places.

FEM and CAD showed no nasty high stress and this the 1st proto frame that we will have built with the concecpt for real.

I got board of MDF and cardboard but with them you can build full or scal sized model or the full bike!

Quick Question, why do bike shops hold their bikes up in those little stands that holds up the bike in the chain stray? Apart from it doesn't need something to lean on. And where can i get one of those? I think it'll be useful when i come to clean it, i can turn the wheel with the crank without turning the bike upside down then too.

new front wheel

back one is the same build as front, only with 2.3'' tyre rather than 2.7''

front hub close up

just checking spacing on new bars... all looks good so far ready for x-0 shifter next payday :D

and how funky is my carpet!!
