The 761 and 771 are the touring versions of those cranks, are you sure you don't mean the mountain geared versions, the 760 and 770. If you've got something you could spend the 30 quid on go for the 760's, otherwise the 770's. There's really nothing in it other than looks imo, the steel composite might last slightly longer, but a replacement in a couple of years time will probably cost less than the difference or you'll have changed to something different by then anyway.

Long story short, pick either :D

On the MTB side - Specialized Monster Energy (Sam Hill) will probably walk away with both titles.

Cant see Hill having an easy run this year. Not to sure on him taking the world champs either :)

Yep, those 3 are flying. Never rule out Peaty or Minaar at Mont Saint Anne either! Theresd a possibilty my friend might be racing in the Junior World Champs as shes doing a few world cups this year and shes very fast. Also got a few other friends racing in Junior so gonna pop over to Champery when we are out in France to give em some support!
 
Been out riding with Nikki Whiles and Dan Stanbridge today as well as a few other mates, had to use my reign and had a bit of an off and tweaked my shoulder a bit. Stanbridge was testing a different bike as well.. So he may be on a new team next year. Nothing offical yet though!!
