saying a black run is hard is a bit redundant no?
haha, I guess it is mate yeah. But just because something is hard doesnt nessisarily mean its tedious and arduous, which is the case with most Black runs i've encounted and why I overall enjoy Red runs a lot more.
Fair enough
Which black runs are you referring to (tedious ones that is), as I have to admit that pretty much all the black runs ive done in the UK are rarher short.
Welcome to the thread/forum by the way.
Which trainer is that? Been looking to get one for a while - just can't find one that I like. Also been improving my fitness with this,![]()

Cycle Ops Fluid 2, hunted around for a while on the net and choose with one. Its had some decent reviews.

Exactly - The blue run at Glentress is harder than the Llandega blackInners black is up there with Laggan double black. Great trails. A lot of trails in the UK have black grading for the sake of it.
Inners XC trail is the best route I've ever done; tough (but awesome) climbing, awesome views from the top and silly fast downhill. I can't wait to get up there again. The most challenging black run I have done is Innerleithen - part of the 7Stanes network. The Razor Rock black section on the XC trail is super gnarly and the Downhill section at the end is scary fast.
I went for a Tacx Flow, great trainer. However, I find getting motivated to actually doing anything on it is the most difficult part. I'd rather be out there on the road clocking the miles up than sat indoors on the Flow watching MTV.
Also, on a side note - Following on from my earlier posts within this thread, I got refused a Cyclescheme voucher for my Cube Acid. My employer has decided that we should wait 3 years between getting a Cyclescheme voucher. I got my Pinarello back in August 2008 so I now need to wait until September 2011 before I am allowed another voucher. Really annoying. And our Occ Health dept keep telling us we should look to maintain our fitness etc, hardly a way to encourage it if you won't give Cyclescheme vouchers out??!!!.
Anyway, I'm still quite keen on grabbing a Cube Acid so I'm looking at 0% finance deals online now.![]()
I'm probably in the market for one more bike for me for now, either a fixie or another carbon road bike (probably a PX)
Viners are nice, I was close to getting one. There is a supply issue though isn't there at the moment?
haha, you need to diversify a bit. Get some MTBs in there![DOD]Asprilla;16188176 said:By the end of the year I want my stable to be:

I need a bigger garage....
If I do I would be looking at a made to measure frame so I'd be happy to wait.
