Well I did Brechfa, Did the Black run twice
But those Berms were imense! :D

Next time I'll camp over and do the Red. But as Im coming from Bath its a 3 hour drive each way :(

Wow, first time I watched that I got the -exact- same "OH ****!" feeling in the pit of my stomach that you actually get on the bike :p

That guy must have nuts the size of a small moon.

i was expecting a serious face plant when he took off and had to turn on landing! that's nuts! if i attempted that i'd know i wouldn't be ever having children! crazy!

im having some serious derailer problems on my hardtail! never been this bad before and its really starting to effect gear shifting a lot! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

i never really messed around with them before as they always been fine! is it easy enough to fix?

As long as it hasnt been bent or twisted out of shape then it should be easy enough to fix.
Park Tool have a good guide to help you. Depending on age and condition of your gear cable , you might want to consider replacing it. Very cheap, will make shifting that little bit easier and could also save you the time/hassle of having an old one snap on you mid-ride. If your going to be adjusting your derailer anyway, it wont be much extra work either.

Added some white bits to my bike:

New Stem
Bars
Grips
Pedals

Also added a WTB Shadow V SLT Saddle 2009 can't belive how light it is
compared to stock Marin seat.

Got some Tioga Extreme XC tyres to go on too next weekend :)

My confidence is finally coming back too which is a bonus!

Nice one, that's excellent. I've never learned to adjust gears but having had mine arsed up by Leisure Lakes when the built my new bike, I need to learn!

I really could do with a workstand too though, at the moment I'm gonna have to get The Mrs to hold the back wheel off the ground for me...

quick question for the masses - having moved house recently my bike got a bit of damage during the move and burst a couple of spokes in the front wheel. Not a mega expensive bike or anything and at the moment I only use it for general use and taking the wee man out on the bike seat attached.

Should this be an issue missing a couple of spokes? Should i get a replacement? (no hardcore riding at the moment mainly just round the streets and along the beach front etc)

For the price you can pick a new wheel up for or even just pop to your local bike shop and get them to give you a price on repair, its definately worth sorting especially if your going to have your little man on it with you
