Its from the bay.

I thought it was worth a gamble for £40 although it appears from
the advertising pictures it holds the bike in an impossible position
but it really does work, and the little shelf is a small thing that is
much needed.

The only thing i would change would be to maybe add a magnetic mat
of sorts to the tray to keep hold of bolts etc.

Other than that a bargain for the money.

Heads up anyone interested..

The Man Who Cycled the Americas
Tuesday 23 March
10:35pm - 11:25pm
BBC1
1/3 - North America

Scottish adventurer Mark Beaumont has already cycled around the world, so last year he decided to try cycling the 13,000 miles from Anchorage in Alaska to the bottom of Argentina. And, as an extra challenge, he decided to start and finish the expedition by climbing to the summit of the highest mountains in North and South America. For most of his journey he has no companions other than his bike and his camera (which he calls Wilson, in what's presumably a nod to the Tom Hanks film Cast Away), while he battles wind, rain, heat, isolation , fatigue and occasional run-ins with grizzly bears. Now, three hours watching a bloke on a bike may sound as much fun as mending a puncture in a thunderstorm, but of course the relentless grind of the road is alleviated by the likeable Beaumont meeting various characters, capturing some stunning landscapes and having little adventures en route.

Okay, how do I get to watch this? :(

ran out of bike lub and cleaning stuff now!

anyone recommend any good wet lube for my chain and a good grease cleaner for my derailers! last lot a friend gave me so haven't had a chance to buy any until now! is the muc-off stuff from haflords any good? or is cleaning and lub brands pretty much all the same?

Ordered a new rear wheel yesterday - quite a good price, ordered at 11am and despatched by 2pm :D I just hope my old man is up to take delivery as I'm shooting off for a 3 day weekend of riding straight from work! No time to go parcel hunting! :(

I use a combo of GT-85 and TF2. Works perfectly.
For cleaning I use Fairy Liquid, and yes I know it has a salt content, and no it doesn't do any harm if you rinse it propely. :D
Works perfectly - the Muc-Off isn't great. **** Shifter is much better and its GREEN! :)
Some awesome trail building and riding in this vid: http://www.********.com/view?i=b04_1269440829:cool:
Classed as violent in work :( Bugger.

I use Fenwicks, much cheaper than Muc Off, just as good if not better if you mix it up strong, and you can use it neat as a degreaser.
