Heh I can imagine the  :) The Fatty Rs are damn strong forks and are used on a lot of hardtail bikes.
Lol if you say so, the most common ones I see are Identiti Rebates, and the odd Kinesis or DMRs :p. I presume it doesn't use the onepointfive steerer like the other headshok forks?

I have no idea what that is. All I know is some of the best trials and street riders have been using them since the mid 90s :)

if your rigid then its all about the 24" SandM pitchforks to be honest , used to have em on my old street bike till i realised bmx was the way forward.

might clean my stinky tommoro morning. its absolutley pitted from the last time i rode it and the chains got a bent link that i cba fixing till its clean :p

i got a bit fed up with it when i came off it last time i was out and its been stood for a good few week now :(

any suggestions for places to get a spring for a dhx shock that comes with the stinky 06 ?

mines too soft for my weight/type of riding i think

Hi there,

Wondering if someone could help me out. My tyre's need pumping up, I use a normal car foot pump but havnt got an adapter for my Presta Valve inner tubes.

Anyone know what adapter I would need so I could use the car foot pump?

Thanks :)

Ah. I bought this from your recommandation. Very impressed with it! It's seriously meateh, should anyone break into our house that's probably the first thing I'll reach for as a weapon also :p

me too :D

The only down side is because of the geometry of my bike there's no room to mount it on there, and it add 10% to the weight of the bike if i do. But it's the second highest ranking lock on Krytonite's range, the best one being the Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboutit Chain, which comes in at 9Ibs ! about 30% weight of even the lightest bike out there.

There are test done it on, i think it took someone 15 mins to blowtorch through it and it made a big mess. It's easier to cut through the bike ! lol

Meh, it won't last long on the wrong end of a setalin torch ;).

Oh dear, stripped the bike to bits and washed it to find that the rear disk mount has cracked/snapped. I knew about it being a common fault from when the bike was out and checked it every so often but i dont think i looked close enough :(

Might have to whack a V brake on there or get some araldite on there n hope for the best.....

Thats the stuff!! Its my brothers bikes.....i just ride it almost constantly while mines is out of service.

I was riding it today like that i imagine so it cant be THAT bad.(i think)

Anyone know any decent cleaning products to clean my chain and re-grease it again.

Comuting to work in the rain and mud etc has got my chain filfy, started to make some little squealing noise.

Thanks

You need a brush, warm soapy water. Then apply Muc-off and then rince with water, PTFE (GT85) to get rid of water and then grease with finish line wet lube.

Was looking at a muc-off set in halfords, £24.99 it was. Might get it, might be cheaper on the net though.

Where could I get PTFE (GT85), what is it? Where could I get Finish Line Let Lube aswell? It does'nt come off easily does it like all onto your pants :p

Thanks

muc-off is £6.99 a bottle, I got 2 for £9.99 in my local bike shop.

or you could always get one of these, but i prefer elbow grease with a brush.

I wouldn't bank on it, applying the rear brake exerts a lot of stress on the disc mount, you could rip the caliper right off and into the wheel potentially, which could end in a nasty accident.
