Bought some new forks on ebay yesterday. 2003 Rockshox Psylo Race w/Poploc. Pics when they arrive.

Are they any good?

ive always liked big hits nice bike



i guess psylos willl be ok for XC and light freeride . have seen a mate snap some twice using them for jumping though

plenty of adjustable bits on them thats for sure

Pfff, I checked the reviews on mtbr before buying. Just wondered if anyone here had used them.

Thanks for the comments guys. I aint too fussed on the flames, but it will save the paint work a little. Just waiting on a chaindevice then its all done . I had a bargin with the brakes mind you. Brand new 07 Hope M4s, with floating rotors... £120 each

Heh, my 2001 Psylo's are still going strong on my old 1999 FSR Extreme Big Hit. 4" Travel. lol. Psylo's were good in thier day. Not the strongest fork though. Light XC use only.

I read the springs are a little soft for some, but seeing as I can't even soften my Judys enough for the reccomended sag, I think I'll be ok.

Hate to break it to you, but it's the Judys, not you that's the problem .

Nice price, I've just picked up some avid juicy ultimates which are great. I love to see a pic of the hope levers if you have the time.

nice big hit but bigger tyre on the back is asking for the front wheel to wash out front looks a bit high to.

Well the bit hit is finished! Woah.. what a machine Need to learn to ride it properly but soaks up everything. Managed a few jumps on it to! Will get pics of it tomorrow

Hate to break it to you, but it's the Judys, not you that's the problem .

hehe, I remember when Judys first came out in the mid 90's, they were pretty much the first fork that didn't taper towards the dropout, and the original DH version had a mind blowing 80mm travel! My how things have changed...

I had Judy SL's on my old Coyote HT3. I thought they were cool because Hans Rey had them at the time. Yellow forks on a yellow frame was also cool back then.

Obviously things like tubes, chains etc.. But thats the majority of the spec.. Ill get a completed picture today

Thinking of getting a bike bag to take the bike out to Morzine this summer, either of these any good?

Anyone used one of these? Gotta fit a Scott Ransom 30 in there with some other kit.
