If i get it sprayed i wanted to cover it in that tape.....can you tell its there? Does the dirt sit on edges.....tape turn coloured because of the dirt?
The stuff you want is 3m leading edge tape, I've only had it ~6 months, but haven't noticed any problems. Only notice it if I look hard enough, guess it depends on the paint job. If you put it on properly, the dirt doesn't sit, and same goes for colouring.

Did you do your whole frame or just the top tube, down tube and other bits where rubbing happens?

I just got the rub prone areas done. If I was having an expensive paint job, I'd have the whole frame done.

Hmm well i will probably do most of the frame where chips happen/cable rub.

Do we want to keep it black or go for some funky pink?

or the nicolai camo that looks awsome.

That the rear end although mine is 12mm bolt through.

some more......why are people claming from 9"-9.5" travel......all the seatstay does is move the rear wheel a further 20mm out.....

£350............. :o

The exact same bike but with a silver part was £350...but i was getting a bulb + 729 wheel with this one so went with it.

I think the guy i pulled out on has reduced his to £310 :o

I was willing to pay that because i couldnt be bothered paying £200-300 for a normal bighit and paying £200 for a rear end.

My riding friend pickup up this today to replace his Intense Tracer. I had a quick demo down some trails and it rides so smooth and feels really planted.

It's a very nice bike but you either need to be a Pro or a very serious amateur. When I am due for an upgrade I would like a GT I Drive 5 1.0 for serious off road and some super lightweight carbon fiber hardtail XC for scooting around on.

I winced at paying £50 for some Jim Cielencki Pedals, so £300 would put me on the floor!

Pedals are fine, they're clipless, if you didn't already know that. Still don't get why they stuck a triple clamp fork on it though :\.
Because that's what they do, Big Hits and Enduros get triple clamps.

I can't stand full suspension, it's all squishy and horrible. It feels like all the power is going into the shock, how do you guys cope?

Depends if you've been riding a bike with DECENT suspension ;)

i.e. I rode a santa cruz heckler the other day, lovely bike and the suspension on it was fantastic, barely any bobbing from pedals at all. Can't remember what shock it had on it though.....
